Study Session.
Giyuu x Femreader𐙚 x Romance x Fluff x Sfw
Synopsis - A study session between you and Giyu takes an unexpected romantic turn, leaving them to navigate the lingering emotions alongside their textbooks.
Word count - 1232
The warm light of the desk lamp glinted off the books and notes strewn haphazardly about the room. Giyu sat beside, furrowed brow deep in concentration, deciphering a particularly difficult passage on demon anatomy. You were, however, not concentrating on anything but him. It was impossible for you to think straight- he was mere inches away in all of that intensity, and you were distracted. The scent of his sandalwood soap fused with the light aroma of always-blooming cherry blossoms that clung onto him: it was thus a heady, intoxicating mix which sent your heart racing.
"So," you began, trying to steer the conversation away from the cell... no, demon physiology. "Do you understand this... stuff?"
He looked up at you with dark eyes. "It's... difficult," he said, his frown deepening. "But I think I'm starting to understand the general concepts."
"Right," you replied, nodding slowly. Well, that was a surprise. He was a brilliant quick study, and to see him stumble over such material was a bit perplexing. "Well, if you need help..." you left.
He shook his head. "I think I'm okay," he replied, lowering his face back into the text. "I just need to concentrate...."
Concentrate. That was easier said than done, especially with him sitting just inches away, his dark hair falling over his eyes, fingers long enough to trace the lines of text. You were watching him more than whatever was on the page.
The silence grew between you, and the only sound save for the paging and the minimal ticking of the clock on the wall grew thick with an unending tension, as you could feel the energy building.
Once more, you turned your gaze back to Giyu. He continued to read, his expression serious and focused thereafter. You wondered what he was thinking, what kind of thoughts might be firing in those dark, intense eyes.
“Giyu,” you said softly, breaking the silence.
He looked up at you with his eyes. "Yes?"
"I—I don’t find it easy to concentrate," you burst out truthfully.
He blinked then, and his expression softened. "Is it…because of me?" he asked in a low voice.
A slow nod escaped your lips. "It's just…well, you know. You’re very distracting," you accepted, feeling a tinge of redness creeping into your cheeks.
A light blush passed over his neck. He turned his head aside until his gaze rested upon the clutches of scattered notes upon the table. “I’m sorry,” he said softly. “I really didn’t mean to…”
"It's not your fault," you cut in. "It's just…you're very…present."
He looked back at you and searched your eyes. “Present?” he echoed.
“Yes," you replied. "You're…awfully aware of your surroundings. You're just…very intense."
He seemed to think about it for a second or two. Then he nodded in slow acceptance. "I...I guess I am."
Another silence raged between you, this one all the more electric than the last. You would feel your heart pounding in your chest, the breath catching in your throat.
Giyu leaned over the table, and his hand covered yours. The warmth of his soft touch caused a shiver to course down your spine. You couldn't help but look at his hand; his graceful long fingers encircled yours. His skin felt soft and warm to the touch.
“Is this… distracting?” he asked, barely above a whisper.
You shook your head adamantly. Your gaze never left his. “No," you said softly. "It's… it's actually nice."
He was squeezing your hand gently, his eyes running over yours. "You're... nice, too," he murmured.
You blushed yet again, your heart racing even faster. Words were lost on you. His sincerity, his simplicity delivered a huge punch; who needs grand gestures?
Leaning nearer, his breath warmed your ear. "Can I ...?" whispered the husky voice.
You knew what he wanted; you knew where that was going. And, oh, how you wanted it-you wanted him. You nodded slowly and kept your gaze on him.
Slowly he closed the space between you, and tried kissing your lips in an innocent, almost reverent kiss. Soft and gentle, more of a question than an answer, you met his lips with yours, and the electricity coursed between you.
That was just the beginning; the kiss deepened with urgency, with passion. His hand let go of yours and began to gently explore the curve of your jaw, searching out your hair. You closed your eyes and surrendered to his touch, the scent of him, the taste of his lips.
He pulled back a little. His searching eyes... "Is this... okay?" he whispered uncertainty.
You nodded again, your heart pounding in your chest. Raising a hand, you felt your fingers brush his cheek. He leaned into your touch, closing his eyes briefly.
He kissed you once more, only now he was rougher, pouring all of his emotion into this next kiss. One hand moved to the back of your neck and pulled you closer.
It felt like time froze just for the two of you, held together in each other's arms. The quiet sound of the city faded away, this soothing noise drowned as if overtaken by the roar of your heart and the jagged breath that left you.
The kiss deepened. You gasped as he moved his lips down your neck, his breath hot against your skin. You arched your back, offering yourself to him.
He pulled away slightly to search your eyes. "Are you sure?" he asked, his voice low and hoarse.
You nodded longingly, filled with desire. You had never felt this way, this overwhelming need for closeness and minglement.
You shivered while your breath poked in your throat. You knew you were crossing a line, one you had never intended to cross. But at that moment, with Giyu's arms around you, his lips on yours, you didn't care. You wanted him, entirely and absolutely.
He pulled back a little, breathing heavily. He regarded you with eyes full of desire that collided with determination. He adjusted your shirt as if worrying.
"We… we should probably continue studying," he mumbled, slightly shaken. He cleared his throat. "Unless… you’d rather not?" His eyes were full of questions, giving you a chance to voice any other desires.
Reeling still from the intensity of the moment, you took a deep breath. "No," you managed to say, though your voice was still a little breathless. "You're right. We should… study." You smoothed your shirt down in an effort to recompose yourself. But the lingering warmth of his touch was so deeply inscribed that you could not really focus.
He nodded, a sort of shy smile dancing on his lips. "Good," he said, and got his textbook. "Where were we?" He proceeded to point at a paragraph with a look of usual, focused intensity.
You both made an effort to concentrate on demon anatomy, the previous intimacy between you making the air feel heavy. Every now and again, your eyes would happen upon each other, the Small acknowledgement of an emotion you both couldn't acknowledge unclad. Your study session was never really interrupted by anything else other than a lingering glance or the brush of hands, that passion now put on hold in deference to a waning expectancy for the "what next."

Unexpected Warmth.
Kyojuro x Femreader𐙚 x Fluff
Synopsis - A casual afternoon in the park takes a surprising turn when you accidentally end up on Kyojuro's lap, leading to a sweet and comforting moment.
Word count - 898
It was one of those urban afternoons when the sun began dipping towards the horizon, bathing the park in an amber glow. It was cool, but not cold, perfect for a stroll or a quick meetup. Rengoku Kyojuro, in keeping with his warm, fiery personality, sat himself down onto a fountain-facing bench, his gold and red hair glinting in the dying sunlight. Wearing his casual clothing rather than his uniform because he wasn't expected to have work for a few days.
You have been under a lot of tension lately. Work, training, and life in general in the city seemed to have gotten to you. So when Kyojuro invited you out, it was a breath of fresh air. Kyojuro and you desperately needed this—needed a friendly presence who did not demand a single thing but mere companionship.
Walking up to the bench, you extended and yawned, allowing your muscles to finally ease out. "Hey, Kyojuro :3," you said out, a little fatigued but with a smile nonetheless. "Mind if I sit with you? I could use a break."
Kyojuro’s eyes flashed with immediate happiness. " Of course, come in”.
you smiled, moving over towards the bench. But when you reached it, for whatever reason, you and your boyfriend did something spontaneous. Not that you hadn't been at ease with Kyojuro, but in a spontaneous outburst of being completely unfiltered, you sat in a position that in no way at all was a norm for you and him. Not even thinking, you sat down—right onto Kyojuro's lap.
For a frozen, single moment, everything hung in limbo. Kyojuro's eyes bulged in shocked disbelief, and he blinked several times, taking in what happened. For a flicker, for an instant, his confident face wavered, but then, with a brilliant, confident smile, relaxed, untroubled.
you, realizing what you'd just done, hastefully began scrambling to sit up, blushing with embarrassment. "Oh, wow. I'm so sorry, i didn't mean to—"
But before him and you could stand, Kyojuro's strong grasp firmly held your waist, holding it in position. Warm, soothing, and surprisingly even, his touch contrasted with its intensity. "No apology is in order," Kyojuro continued with that same roguish smile. "I'm not protesting. In fact, I kind of enjoy it."
You freeze, eyes slightly widen but not fully, unsure if you'd heard him right. "Wait… you enjoy it?"
He chuckled softly, and a deep rumble sounded in his chest. "Well, yeah." He shrugged, a soft smile creeping onto his face. "You're comfortable, and in all honesty? It feels good to have my gf near."
you, still a little flustered, tried to laugh it off. "I was simply exhausted… and I did not think, I swear. But, ah, if you don't mind it."
“I don’t have a problem with a little unplanned closeness at all. It’s kind of a thrill, actually.”
you relaxed a little, surprised at how literal he was taking it. He leaned back onto the bench, keeping you in position with his arms, clearly enjoying the moment. "I mean, I must say, it’s not a scenario one comes about, but I have always stated that life’s too short to care about little ones. And when my gf is this pretty, I don’t even care."
you couldn't help but cutely blush at him :3 "You're not even embarrassing yourself, I presume?"
“Not my style,” Kyojuro flashed a smile, working a little at revealing the muscles under his sweatshirt. “And I'm not particularly uncomfortable, at least. I'm enjoying it, in fact. I mean, I'm thinking, if we're together, then what's wrong with it? You're in desperate need of a break, I'm happy to give it.”
you felt your face burn, but at the same time, a surprisingly soothing aspect of having a conversation existed. Kyojuro, humble and passionate as ever, seemed to have a strange talent for taking even the most outlandish experiences and making them mundane, even enchanting.
"Well, if you're sure," you answer, sinking a little deeper into him and shamelessly wrapping your arms around his neck, trying to indulge in the moment. "I guess I’ll have to believe you then. It’s been one of those days."
He groaned, “you can rely on me” Kyojuro cried out, a warm and even voice. He placed a relaxed hand on your back and slightly pulled in your waist more allowing you to lean on him. “I think that you’re one of those sorts of people who can stand my flame. It’s a pleasure to have a gf who actually ‘gets it.’
For a short period, you and him sat in quiet calm. The city noise seemed to fade, and nothing else mattered but present comfort. There was no anticipation, no rushing about. Two friends taking a break in life.
"You're pretty humble, you know?" you comment, glancing up at him, a soothing sensation seeping into both of your chests.
Kyojuro laughed, a deep, full-throated sound. "Hard to stay humble when I’ve got someone as tempting as you around," he added, "But don't forget, I'm ever-present when you're in a position to need such comfort." And with that, you relax at long last, and the weight of the pressure from stress falls off your shoulders. Perhaps this unscheduled break was exactly what you and Kyojuro needed, in desperate need of: a simple, untroubled break, with a sort of individual who could make things a little brighter.

Silent Confession.
Yoriichi x Femreader𐙚 x Fluff
Synopsis - Amidst the fragrant plum blossoms, you & Yoriichi unspoken feelings finally find voice. Your quiet connection deepens into a love that brings the both of you peace and joy.
Word count - 465
As you sit next to Yoriichi in a small tea house overlooking a garden lit by the soft glow of paper lanterns, the sweet, intoxicating scent of plum blossoms fills the air. A gentle breeze rustles through the stalks of bamboo, adding to the soft lullaby of now. You’ve been bolder tonight than you were normally and thrumming with 'fidgety' excitement.
You've been hanging out with him here at this peaceful sanctuary. It feels like a dream, like a delicate moonflower slowly unfurling in sublime tranquility. You’ve noticed the way his gaze softens as he looks at you, the almost imperceptible smile on his lips. You're determined to say something tonight.
He extends his hand over yours, resting beside you on the porch with an expression of simplicity. You don’t hold back: you take his hand, your fingers twirling around his. A very slight look of surprise appears, only to be quickly masked behind his otherwise composed facade. But you saw it.
"Yoriichi" you whisper in a sound slightly above that of a whisper, "this garden ... is lovely." You take a deep breath. "But … it’s not the loveliest thing I've seen tonight."
He looks straight at you, his eyes a question. He opens his mouth to speak, but you continue, heartened at his sudden daze, which means at least something.
"It’s you," you say, your cheeks flushing a warm pink. "Honestly, Yoriichi-sama, you’re distracting. In the best way possible. I find myself thinking about you all the time." You look down at your intertwined hands, then back up at him. "I... I like you, Yoriichi."
He gapes at you, an expression of usual calmness confused with surprise and some other thing... that looks a little like being flustered. He opens his mouth but without uttering a sound. He seems... without words.
"I... I..." he finally manages to splatter out, a rare thing that makes your heart pump even more quickly. "I... I also..." He trails off, casting his gaze hither and thither in the garden like he was searching for the answer on the leaves of the bamboo.
You let out a little nervous laugh. "It's alright," you say softly. "You don't have to say anything if you don't want to." but you desperately hope he will.
"I want to," he says, his voice a little stronger now, a hint of vulnerability in his eyes. "I… I enjoy being with you. More than you know. You bring me peace." He hesitates, then adds, his voice softer, more intimate, "And… you make me happy."
Your heart expands, "happy" you repeat softly.
He nods, his cheeks tinted by a rosy blush like your own. He gently squeezes your hand. "Yes"
You smile a real, bright smile that illuminates your face. "Then… then I’m glad," you whisper.
