one bit of symbolism i haven’t seen anyone talking about (yet) is Mark’s betta fish. from episode ONE he has two fish in one tank but they’re separated. one’s red one’s blue. and they’re bettas, which are notoriously aggressive and would throw hands if they came into contact. like damn they really were that upfront about the oMark/iMark conflict from episode one, huh.
