The Northern Wall of Briggs
So I know that she isn’t the greatest character by a long shot, but I just think that a little attention needs to be devoted to General Olivier Mira Armstrong tonight
Like this woman is absolutely fracking nuts, and I know that pretty much everyone knows this, but still. She beats the crap out of her brother and he is built like a fracking elephant. I mean look at him.
And she just fracking yeets him like it’s nothing.
And the she just picks him up and drags him like a rag doll.
Like this woman is a monster, and I loved her for it. Can we have more women like this in everything please? Not necessarily the unrealistic expectations of beauty, but just the absolute monster part.

Thoughts on V6C8
Can we stop being pissed off at these characters for being complex characters that have feeling and react like real people instead of robots. Although I will say being mean to Oscar is not the answer I’m a little upset that Oz has left poor Oscar alone to deal with this fallout. And I’m going back to a previous post when it comes to Team JNR’s reaction. Still they are complex deep characters who are going to react like real human beings with perfectly valid feelings of anger towards Oz and also having their own issues to deal with (Qrow) issues that are not just fixed in a day and can take serious time and willpower to over come. I’m tired of seeing this community rip into these characters for actually reacting like human beings in this situation.

Thoughts on V6C6
For the people angry and Qrow for this episode. I understand. But also I would like to point out that the Apathy play a big part in the actions of the characters this episode. It made them have the feeling of hopelessness. This feeling might I point out is why many people turn to alcohol in the first place. There is no way that I will believe that under normal circumstances Qrow would get so drunk he couldn’t protect his nieces. I simply refuse to accept that because that goes against everything we have seen from his character. I believe that the apathy lowered his walls and made him more inclined to drink himself into oblivion without realising the consequences. But the fear you see when he sees the apathy, that’s him realising how far he’s falling. I think that’s when he broke out of the haze that the apathy put them under. I think that it is important that they aren’t treating Qrow problem like a funny joke anymore but I don’t think under normal circumstances what happened would have happened.

My thoughts in V6C4
What has me tied in knots about all of this fighting in the fandom over Qrow punching Ozpin and QRWBY being pissed is that all this shit went down literally seconds after they found out that Salem maybe can’t be killed. It hadn’t even sunk in yet. So everyone making an argument that Oz is just fighting to keep Humanity alive and that this makes it justified. Totally right ! But QRWBY did not have time to process and think that far ahead ... right then they were focused on the betrayal and nothing else. Qrow was justified in his anger because he LITERALLY just found out that he had been lied to for a good portion of his life. The rest of the teams anger is also justified because again they were mislead into the situation they are in now. Oz was justified in being upset that his whole life replayed before his very eyes and having no choice in the matter (and wow can we talk about that for a minute.) But again they haven’t had time to process. RT has made some complex characters that actually hold true to how many people would legit feel in that situation. Qrow maybe should not have reacted so violently simply because it’s Oscars body and Oscar didn’t deserve that but that’s what happened and he should probably apologise to Oscar. And while I feel bad for Oz about reliving he’s past and I have simpathy for him I also am aware that if I was in that situation and found out what they found out I would be pissed at him to. It shouldn’t go unsaid that everyone is dealing with their own pain and betrayel in this situation. They are not really trying to understand or put others pain before theirs (except maybe Ruby). They can’t take a step back from the situation the same way we can because we are the viewers and we can see the “whole” picture in a way that these character can’t. So please before you go to be pissed at QRWBY or even Oz. Put yourself in their situation and ask yourself... “how would I react to something like this?” (also I am aware that these are fictional character but I have a need to treat them like they are real to understand where they are coming from and why they do what they do. Again complex character which is brilliant on RT part)

Sun saying “It was never about that” is actually so important. In our society it’s almost expected that when a guy does something for a girl he does it because he wants to get with her. Half the fandom suspected that was the only reason Sun helped Blake. But here Sun outright tells us that he didn’t help Blake because he has a crush on her. He did it because she’s a friend and needed help, and he’d do it again, even if he knew he doesn’t have any chance to ever be with her like that, even if he didn’t even have a crush on her. Sun is a good boy who doesn’t just help a girl because he expects romance in return, and I’m very glad they’ve made that very clear.
