I can't tell if I'm toxic or just the only normal one. I'm obviously over political and express my beliefs strongly. Sometimes I really feel I'm an asshole when I hate someone because of their different views. But I can't help it, I die to understand why they can't see what I see. Why they can't see they are wrong and I'm not. I'm never wrong but a part of me feels like I'm just telling myself that. I see so many people of the opposite opinion agree on one thing, what's facts and what's not and that's got me wondering if I'm actually believing the right people. Well, of course I am. That's all I've ever known. And it hurts me the most when all my friends have that opposing view and I feel like I can't talk to them or ramble to them about mine. I know I should keep my political opinions out of my friendships but when it's brought up I can't help the rush inside me to argue and prove them wrong. I don't want to lose my friends over politics but I'm really starting to wonder if it's worth the constant doubts and argues. If they can't see my side of it, is the friendship worth it? I want to trust them but I can't sometimes. It's my fault but it also isn't. I'm stuck. I don't know. Every time politics has been brought up I've gotten in an argument with a friend and we haven't talked. Why can't they feel the same as me? Why does it feel I'm the only one who values my country and my own benefits instead of other's 24/7. Sometimes I wish I had different friends who understood me better and didn't try to bring me down using fucking politics.

I don't get why I feel the obligation to sit here and pretend I'm not jealous. I really am, and I wish u would understand. It's my standing obligation to be a "people pleaser," but sometimes pleasing people means damaging myself. I'm torn between helping and not helping, encouraging, and not encouraging, but seeing you two interact has me wondering where my line dwindles. You can ask who I'm talking about, but $20 or a million won't get me to confess because even I can't accept my feelings myself. Every time you mention how happy they make you, I feel like eating myself alive. ♡
