went on a long walk home yesterday. It was probably closer to an hour and 45 minutes. On my way I stopped in several different bars to charge my phone. one of the spots I stopped in I was speaking to an older Black gentleman. and what are the chances that this man’s father was a retired professor from the college I’m taking continuing art classes from and that a good friend of his owns the space that I’ve been taking writing workshops at. He gave me some feedback on my paintings. We talked about shadow and light how light creates harsher lines how shadow softens edges. we talked about studying people’s faces and color theory. I continued on. I found a Photo Booth in one of the spots I stopped at. At first I paid wrong and so my pictures were being taken without me in the booth. I ended up with the first strip after I learned how to use the machine.
