NO my generation didn't have "Tik Tok". We didn't have "phones". We didn't "lock in" and we certainly never went to "Ohio". And we never took a single picture of ourselves. But. We made memories. It is crazy how much transitioning has had an impact on my overall mental health. There are plenty of stressors I’m coping with right now, but once you experience dysphoria so bad you’re crying yourself to sleep every night and praying you don’t wake up. And then you transition and that goes away. Everything else seems so much smaller in comparison

what i'm begging people to understand is that the huge portion of evangelical/christians in usamerica do not genuinely and earnestly believe in their holy texts or core doctrines. for them, religion is a means to uphold white supremacy and patriarchy and they've convinced themselves it's their divine prerogative. that is what they believe. you can plead with them to "be christlike" or point out their hypocrisy until the second coming. they do not care. you can't reason with them because they are not interested in piety or morality they are interested in power and control
