Stan sighs, not resisting his pull. "You dont seem sll that bad to me" He turns back to face him again, his antsy demeanor dissipating.

" Look.. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have dumped that on you, alright? Snitching is just... not cool. And.. thanks for not doing that.. I.... We can try to be sober buddies..." Stan gives him a weak uncertain smile.

"You think snitching on me is going to help? That's only going to make me feel worse! Ugh.. I'm so stupid for trusting you. For trusting anyone in this stupid town." Stan turns away, wondering what he should do. Should he go throw away his alcohol stash? Would his mom believe this guy over her own son? He felt himself starting to get antsy.

Hurt and betrayal flashes over his features "Wh-- What? Are you kidding me?! I thought you were my friend! I don't just go around telling this stuff to everyone!"

"Well... it's been working just fine. It's not like Im over here getting wasted all the time. Just.. a shot or two here and there.. And my friends and family can tolerate me again so... It's going great."

"I uh........." Stan cant help but force a smile. He wanted to be there for Bojack... he just wasn't sure he was able to do it "I dont know... I don't think I can.... I kinda gave this system going and it's working out for me....."

He knew Bojack was right, but it didnt feel like a choice.. It was too late for that. Stan cant help but return the sad smile "I guess we just both bum people out, huh?" Stan reaches up and gives Bojack a small pat, trying to be reassuring.

"No.. Kinda wish I was." He laughs as little as he glances off to the side, rubbing the back of his neck "But my dad's an alcoholic so it was probably bound to happen sooner or later."
