and by the way, i hate reading an agere fic and the caregiver seems dismissive of their little ones' feelings or immediately threatens punishment when their little is being uncooperative or throwing a tantrum, instead of just talking to them（´＿｀） especially when the tantrums being thrown bc of something like not wanting to eat/sleep.

like obviously u want them to sleep well and eat so they won't be hungry--but why is the priority ticking a checklist of the things the little has to do that day and not the reason why they're refusing to do what or want or why they're actually upset. their feelings are a little more important than their bedtime....

Blocking is a feature put in place just for you, it doesn’t make you a bad person for choosing to block people, you’re simply focusing on your own happiness and there’s nothing wrong with that.

And when it comes to people you know, the same thing applies. If you need to distance yourself and stop speaking to someone because they make you uncomfortable, then so be it.

I want you to know that protecting your own happiness is incredibly valid and you will never be in the wrong for that.

Next time someone makes you uncomfortable, you’re gonna focus on your happiness, and remove that person from your circle.
