Friday, 16th of February

I wrote SO!! many notes today!! wrote up all my philosophy notes and all my sociology ones from class, i finished my assigned reading and I’m spending the night at a friend from college’s place. we sat there and did homework for a few hours and unfortunately we’re at the lame age where sleepovers actually involve sleep, so i’m gonna wait to start my sociology essay until later so we can actually spend some time together. i also got an english short story assigned today and that’s due next week so that’s higher priority than the essay but also the essay will take longer so i don’t want to put it off for too long.

Thursday, 15th of February

didn’t have class until 1pm today so instead of doing what i usually do and going to the campus library, i went out, did some walking and then found a nice sunny area to do some organising before i had to catch a bus into school. i had sociology today and i got 16 pages of reading and an essay assigned today, which isn’t fun but i really do enjoy the material so hopefully it won’t be too painful.

Wednesday, 14th of February

happy v-day!! i had a 3 hour history lecture from 1-4pm and it was truly mind numbing. i’m not really sure if i wanna continue to take this class anymore but wowee. i also had a philosophy class this morning and THAT was wonderful i’m super excited for that one. gonna go home and sleep for 12 hours!!

Tuesday, 13th of February

Went in to change my classes today!! It did not really go well I sorted out one of my problems but I still have 3 hours of history tomorrow and I am:not in the mood truly. Good news for me is I have philosophy class first which I do love I’m so very excited for that one!! I think I might have a solution to my schedule issue but it’s not as good as I’d like it to be unfortunately. I’ll figure it out though!!

Friday, 9th of February

Classes started back up this week! I have to change a few things around next week with my schedule but for the most part I'm really excited about my classes!! I am super exhausted now, so I'm really glad that it's a long weekend and classes pick back up on Tuesday. It's 8:15pm and I'm seriously considering going to bed but I'm trying to set up my aesthetic course guides now before I have no motivation like usual. But a good week 1, only 9 weeks left before Autumn break so. Yay.

Wednesday, 31st of January

This week has been very emotionally turbulent, I’m starting my last year of college and I’ve been both anxious and extremely excited!! My baby brother (well, he’s not so much of a baby anymore apparently) starts kindergarten in one week, and I’ve just been reckoning with the fact that he’s nearly 5. I am a legal adult in less than 150 days, and one of my closest friends turned 18 literally today!! This past week has been preparing both emotionally, and physically for college, I cleaned and reorganised my spaces, bought new school supplies and officially enrolled in my courses. Updates should be more frequent, I’m so very excited to start Year 12.

we're supposed to get a really bad storm tonight and could potentially lose power, and on top of that there's already a nationwide internet outtage with my provider so if my power goes out there goes the last remaining semblance of wifi i get

— TUESDAY NOVEMBER 7TH —

studied at home today!! no.. actual exam prep occurred today but i did finish (and start) my last assignment of the year. it’s overdue. it’s fine. hopefully. i think i submitted it in time for my grades to be changed but if not… rip psych 101, you will not be missed. i spent 3 hours and 15 minutes on schoolwork today, so i feel like even though i didn’t get through exam stuff i did a fair amount. gonna start upping it to like 6 or 7 hours a day over the next week. really gonna push myself.

— MONDAY NOVEMBER 6TH —

today was my last day of classes for the entire school year. i’ve been going to school since 2011 and now i have one more year left. at least one more year of required schooling. like, i took my last ever math class today. i still have exams though, they’re in nine days. NINE. that’s nuts. right about this time next year i’ll have graduated college which is insane to me. can’t wait to make the 2024 school year my bitch
