My submission to @startrekromcom​! When I think of ridiculous pining I always think of Kira and Odo, so they seemed to be perfect for a rom-com. I included an ensemble cast and many ships, from the popular (Garashir) to the most uncommon of rarepairs (Dax/Sisko)!

Summary:

Spock and Kirk are a combination that never should have worked. The supremely intelligent, seemingly emotionless half Vulcan and the loud, messy, feelings everywhere Jim Kirk. But despite their differences Spock comes to appreciate the subtleties of Kirk's 'deeper than he appears' personality.

Back of the DVD box. So there is this senior citizen…. Faced with exile from the Q Continuum, the mischievous Q (played by Q) comes up with a plan to stay on the Continuums good side. He says he’s engaged to marry Jean-Luc Picard (played by Jean-Luc Picard), the Starfleet Captain. Picard agrees to the charade, but imposes a few conditions of his own, including going to France to visit his brother. With Q Continumm always lurking nearby, Q and Picard must stick to their wedding plan despite the bafflement of the crew.

🌸 When do sign-ups close? And when should I start working on my romcom project?

Sign-ups close on February 1st 2021, but you don’t have to wait that long: you can start working on your fancreation right away if you want!

🌸 When do I post my work?

Posting starts on February 14th and ends on February 28th. You will be assigned a posting date. However, this is a low-stress event and posting dates are flexible: if there’s a problem with your assigned date just let us know and we’ll find you another one.

🌸 Where do I post my work?

For writers, there is an AO3 Collection for the event (startrekromcom). People contributing fanart, fanmixes, fanvideos or anything else may choose where they want to post their work, but make sure to send us a link via e-mail (startrekromcom@gmail.com) or tag us here on tumblr.

At the end of the event, a masterlist of all fanworks will be posted on tumblr.
