A mark on the facade left by the Mig-21 plane in which Major Peter Makowicka crashed into a five-story apartment block on January 14, 1975 in Cottbus, then East Germany, from Zersetzung series. I returned to several older projects in my portfolio – I reorganized them, added new texts, and in some cases supplemented them with new, previously unpublished photos.

Ticket Controllers, July 2025
A few months ago, from my kitchen window, I noticed a group of ticket inspectors waiting at the bus stop outside my house. In Warsaw, they don't wear uniforms, but for some reason, they're always dressed so that you can tell who they are from a distance. I started photographing large groups waiting for the next tram.
Like countless other internal micro-series in this journal, it turned into an obsession with collecting similar things and juxtaposing them. Like the photos of M. returning from work, or our car piled high with stuff. In my head, I arrange them on the wall in a grid that reminds me of Lewis Baltz's exhibitions. Similar things with similar things.
Photography is a tool for memory and categorizing the world into smaller pieces. Alongside my documentary works, I'd like to be able to show a meta-project, Museum of Memory, which explores the documentary properties of photography and its changing meanings, along with my ever expanding archive of works.
