November 7th - Ebon


Ivan Evans was a troubled young man living in the city of Dakota. He desired power and respect but felt like he was a nobody with no future. Looking for a sense of belonging, he fell in a street gang and ended up being sentenced to juvenile hall. After his release, Evans was exposed to the quantum vapor of the ‘big bang’ which acted to awaken his latent metahuman powers. He transformed into a quasi-silhouette appearance and gained shadow-manipulating powers. He renamed himself Ebon and chose to use his newfound gifts to obtain power. Ebon ended up leading a gang of other metahuman youths, naming themselves ‘The Meta-Breed.’ His various schemes resulted in multiple conflicts with the hero Static; and Ebon would prove to be Static’s arch-nemesis. Ebon appeared in the animated series Static Shock. He has yet to appear in the DC Comics universe.

DCTV moodboards: Hartmon - autumn/Halloween

Made for @hartmonfest Hartmon Halloween and the prompt of sweet treats, although I guess it falls under headcanons too since I realised I could say a little on it. :)

Both of them like to bake, but Cisco gets really into trying out new Halloween themed recipes. Hartley also likes to read outside even though it’s getting too cold by October, and has a mug warmer for his tea/cocoa that Cisco knitted for him. They get wrapped up tight for taking walks together, far away from any other people when they need some time to decompress, though they’ll often forego wearing gloves and make use of pockets instead, just to be able to hold hands. Thanks to being able to breach places, they can enjoy some stunning locations for their walks but they usually keep it season appropriate.

Static is one of my all-time favorite superheroes, so when I saw the prompt I got so pumped up!

I would’ve liked to have had more than a few hours to really refine this, but hey, you work with what you can get.
