im curious about your thoughts on spamton/addisons and transactional intimacy you mentioned this is so interesting to me...... if you feel like talking about it of course

im sure ive already said before that addisons are very reactive to whatever they are bargaining for a client which makes sense because , they are ads after all they are supposed to sell things at any cost, Spamton is also this way, hes just perceived as more "defective" because of his failures to perform up to the task.

Overall Spamton tends to dump out their miseries on whoever is willing to hear but he´s extremely paranoid of how he´s perceived on top of the self image issues, he sells mostly the idea of Being Big and desirable and i think that extends to intimacy with other people, i do not see addisons being somehow "above" the idea of compensated dating of some kind, but i specially think Spamton might have done it more often than ever if it got the person to also hear them out on other product, one of his firsts blurbs is literally "looks like youre [all alone on a late night?]" after all, a lot of his spam speech ends up being references to inappropriate subject matter ,

i do not think his fear of being thrown out or jumping and screaming at the mere sight of violence towards him is smth that ONLY happened after falling from his Big Shot era, i think its a cumulative aspect of him, he perceives himself as a mere puppet, a weird doll, not even an Email to begin with, something people can make a punchbag of, which he has proven to have been (he may be an unreliable narrator because of his very obvious unstable mental capacity but i do think the cyber world has proven to be a pretty ruthless reign at times). So all this to say since he had been proven to already had a shaky mental state in his Big Shot era i think he definitely thinks self objectification is literally the only way to bond with some people and that extends to selling Tenna the idea of being His, His sidekick, partner, lover, mailman, boy toy , whatever you may call it, Spamton has a terrible sense of identity so he copies whatever is near to get whatever he needs in that moment, even as a big shot he was basically some accessory to whatever environment he was in. (even as an item he is an accessory to the lightners as well, he has resigned himself to it so far because he went too far in his search for freedom)

this is also why i think he is so "scared" of Jevil and perceives him as a rival instead of another potential client to be the accessory of, they played games together, he is Only himself in those briefs moments so it drives his anger up ya know, he cannot say anything that is just to flatter the other without him seeing right thru it, or guilt trip either, and Spamton definitely doesnt like himself as that. I also think its somehow healthier for Spamton to see Tenna as a rival nowadays too rather than an actual inseparable companion, cuz i definitely think Tenna would have had complexes about "saving" someone like Spamton, and Tenna literally has shown that he has an awful strike of lashing out at people under him if he gets frustrated or he feels like they arent performing enough to his standards, that would have been a time bomb on them both.
