I’m still offering bust/headshot commissions to raise some much needed funds. To get out of an unsafe living situation, I just relocated to another state, and the move cost hundreds of dollars more than my partner and I had budgeted for.
These headshots cost a mere $15 apiece. Whether you need a portrait for your D&D character or an icon for social media, I gotchu.
For more details, and to order, check the link: https://commiss.io/listings/jd2N
Thank you so much! <3

❓- for Anthus and Linza both
Anthus smirks. “I once was a prostitute. My clan is named for my mother. I never learned how to whistle.”
Linza peeks up from the edge of the table. “I’ve never had a partner. I’m terrified of wolves. I can roll up into a perfect ball.”

Are you still in love with the blood elf girl?
“Heh. That’s a complicated question, to be sure. She’s someone who will always hold a place in my heart, but Lyyn is my world, my life.”

This letter is written on good parchment, bearing the seal of House Marcovian.
My Dearest Wyn,
It is good to hear from you, truly. I thank you for the congratulations, although it seems that your own are in order. To survive the trials is no small task, and I am incredibly proud of you.
War is ever-present in Azeroth, Wyn. You and I have both been in this game long enough to know as much. What is disconcerting is that, while the game is the same, the players are vastly different. After all, with Go’el and Varian at the helm, there was a measure of mutual respect. With Garrosh, he turned traitor to his own people. And with Vol’jin, he managed to keep the peace between the Alliance and Horde while we travelled to Draenor.
Now we have Sylvanas and Anduin at the helm. Very different players, and ones that I fear will cause even the most passing alliances to crumble to dust.
Know that no matter what may happen between the Alliance and Horde, I am ever at your service, Wyn.
Apologies for the abrupt end to this letter, but duty calls, as I’m sure you know. We should meet at Light’s Hope in the coming months, catch up, and reminisce.
Yours in the Light,
A.S.

A letter to Anthus Steelshatter - 27 June
This letter is written on good parchment and sealed in gray wax bearing the seal of the Argent Crusade.
Dear Anthus,
I know it’s been practically forever since I wrote, but I imagine that surprises neither of us considering the contents of my last letter.  Still, I apologize for the silence.  I hope this letter finds you well, though I can’t imagine it would find you anything but.  I had heard that congratulations were in order for both you and your wife—I hope all of you are well, including your daughter.
As for me, I am pleased to report that I am now a fully fledged Blood Knight, having survived both my adept and knight trials in these last months.  There is something that right about the whole thing except for the war that always seems to loom on the horizon.  I don’t know what the future holds in that regard, but I do know that I will fight and die for my people—for the sin’dorei—and for our home if it’s necessary that I do so. The rest?  I don’t know.  That remains to be seen.  I don’t know if they’ve earned my blood or my loyalty as my people and the regiments I work with have.  Those men and women are my family as much as my brother or my son are—and my cousins and aunt and uncle.
I don’t know why I’d thought them dead; perhaps it was because I was so young when we lost everything that it was hard to recall them, considering we saw little of them after my father died.  I discovered them again by complete accident, which is to say that my cousin Ardus stumbled across me after he joined the 194th.  As it turns out, they didn’t realize we were alive, either—or most of the family didn’t, though my youngest cousin, Izra, must have known and just kept his mouth shut, likely out of deference to Tyr.  It wouldn’t surprise me.
I have been, in fact, working to reclaim my birthright.  The manor itself may be a lost cause, at least for the time being, and Light knows that the place is perhaps not in the most secure location, as close to Lordaeron as it is.  In some ways, it  is simply too haunted, too stained with blood, to truly feel like home and yet it will always be home.  I have been exploring what my mother left behind in secret there.  It’s been oddly fulfilling.  I suppose she trained me more and better than I ever quite believed.
So much has changed that I scarcely know what to write of, what to tell you, what you might want to know. In the interest of sparing the parchment, I shall close simply with this.  I am alive, I am safe, and I remain affectionately your friend.
Wyn.
