The split personality of Mo Ran, three days for Mo Zongshi and one day for Taxian Jun– this is perfect to me.

Because Taxian Jun deserves his own happiness, not with Mo Zongshi, but of his own.

I was listening to the audio drama, and Taxian Jun's heart-wrenching pleas and sobs made my heart bleed. He only wanted his Chu Wanning to be with him. Even in death, he only had that one person, whom he thought he hated. He really thought his Chu Wanning regretted taking him in as a disciple, he really thought HIS Chu Wanning hated him, he thought his Chu Wanning never cared for him.

Such a pitiful and tragic character. He was manipulated into blackening to the point where he lost everything. Yet, the one whom he claimed to abhor the most was the reason for his living.

Those last two years were very lonely indeed. He had lost the reason to live on. And then, near the end of the novel, when his Chu Wanning hugged him from behind... Ah...

So yes, he deserves his own time. He deserves his Chu Wanning. His Chu Fei. And his Shizun... That person is his, just as Chu Wanning told Mo Ran, "Two lifetimes. They belong to you. No regrets."

The thing I am scared to be disappointed with is, no in actuality I am bracing myself for the disappointment with the live action of TGCF. The precious height difference between San Lang and his Dianxia— that, with THAT I am scared of being disappointed.

Crossing my fingers, hope they'll respect the original characters and do them the justice they deserve.
