Renungan harian 12 Sept 2019 Bertelut Menundukkan Hati Bacaan: Yesaya 16:6-14 Ketika kita mengalami masalah yang tdk terpecahkan dan terdesak oleh waktu, maka tidak ada pilihan selain kita meminta bantuan dan pertolongan org lain. Namun banyak org akan mengalami kesulitan untuk meminta bantuan org lain jika masalah itu berhubungan dgn harga dirinya. Harga diri seolah harga mati yg tdk bs dikorbankan, walau demi sesuatu yg sebetulnya lebih penting yaitu keselamatan. Keangkuhan membatasi cara pertolongan. Keangkuhan Moab adalah penyebab kehancuran mereka. Mereka membutuhkan tetapi justru mereka mau mengatur bagaimana mereka seharusnya ditolong, dgn bayaran ank domba. Pdhl seharusnya mereka berserah dan takluk kepada Tuhan sehingga kehancuran Moab telah ditentukan hanya tinggal menunggu waktu. Sekalipun Moab bersusah payah beribadah dan berdoa, tetapi tdk menghasilkan apa2. Tuhan pun bersedih akan keadaan Moab yg merana akibat keangkuhan. Kita seringkali tdk menyadari betapa besar kuasa Tuhan dpt menolong kita. Walau kita percaya kepada Tuhan Yesus, tetapi kita ingin menyelesaikan masalah kita sendiri. Kalaupun kita datang kepada Tuhan maka seringkali bukan mencari kehendak-Nya. Tetapi hanya memberitahu dan meminta kuasa-Nya untuk melakukan apa yg kita kehendaki. Kita mengangkat tangan dan menengadahkan kepala, tetapi kita tdk menundukkan hati kita. Tuhan mengingatkan kita untuk mencari pertolongan-Nya dgn penuh kerendahan hati.
