THEYRE FINISHED! over 100 hours of work into these bad boys. They are hand dyed, hand cut, hand stitched...100% hand crafted! I absolutely love them and am so proud of them all. They took an average of 3 hours each, some a bit more, so I will be selling them for £18. I know a lot of people will just see keyrings, which is fine, but they aren't just that. They are tiny little art pieces you can take around with you! Every single one is different and unique, and even when I make more there will never be 2 the same. If you were to get one, they truly are OOAK! 🌈 leftovers from the pop up shop will be in my etsy on august 11th alongside some hoops and also new things I will now work on 💖

I can't remember what group someone posted in that had a link to coasters that can hold cross stitch, but I seen it and bought 12 😂 I stitched this up last night and this morning using patterns inspired by bargello needlepoint patterns, but did half stitches instead because I was working on plastic canvas. I can't wait to have a spectrum of colourful coasters on my table 😍🌈

His name is Watermelon

From a 1995 kit (Hummingbird on lace, Jiffy) but I ended up changing the pattern a lot. Added a bunch of fractional stitches in the bird, a French knot in his eye and the entirety of the background because I liked it better.

The finished boy. This is my first ever embroidery/ free hand embroidery/needle painting. I'm happy with how he turned out and I'm excited with how much I learned doing him.
