We're officially running our second check-in! That marks us as 2/5ths of the way through the event!

We are officially at our first check-in! Writers and artists are beginning to make progress, and the mod team are looking to finalise pieces of organisation for when posting rolls around.

Beyond that, well... Lets just say we've floated the idea of future events >:3

We're looking to pick up a few beta readers to fill the gaps on some teams for the event! If you're interested in beta reading for the event, please shoot us a direct message; we'll then give you the server link, and you'll be able to fill in a form to be assigned to a team.

Teams are now assigned, and work is underway. You may also have noticed posting and check-in dates were adjusted; this was due to some hiccups in our setup process, but rest assured it's smooth sailing from here onwards!

And with that, the Big Bang is officially underway! Anyone who did not receive an invite by this point is now officially being marked as no longer participating so we are able to move forwards with the event.

Apologies for any hassle or confusion in getting the invites out! We have plans to better streamline the process next year.

Regardless, we’re already very excited by the premises and to see what will be created over the course of the next few months!

We’re about to do our last sweep of reaching out to artists and writers who are still yet to join the discord; if this is you, please keep an eye on DMs! By the end of this week we move into the main event phases, and will be forced to simply mark anyone still missing as no longer able to participate.

so uve walked this back? is that whats happened? u said u were going to give artists what the writers were gunna write but have decided not to. have i got that right? why?

Originally this was the plan; it got altered due to time crunches, and has since been turned to a poll within the event to see if we go back to artists picking their writers or stick with the assigned teams. Apologies for the confusion on that front and for any distress and discomfort the change has caused, but it has been brought to our mod team's attention and we are doing our best to address the concerns.

If you have not, please please please reach out to this blog so we can get that to you ASAP, as tumblr has been eating some of the links we've sent out. This also means everyone is entirely welcome to begin communicating with their team and creating their pieces!

Another update on invites rolling out; one of the mod team (agentquinn) has been sending them out in my stead, and as of now all writers should have received a message (unless your dms are restricted; in that case, feel free to still reach out!). Artists and beta readers are being worked through now
