Instead, she continued to talk about herself. “I play the piano and violin when I have free time, and I like to read and swim. That is everything I do outside of taking jobs where my skills are required. I don’t live a very exciting life.”

She had never been much of a talker, preferring silence and tranquility, so this conversation was already an anomaly. Kagura wasn’t quite sure what it was about this man, but she knew he had something to do with this. “I would say I am pretty comfortable and feeling pretty open right now...but that would be a lie, and I am not a liar.”

“Of course not. You’re quite strong. That strength and confidence allows you to relax right now, doesn’t it? After all, I clearly mean you no harm, and pose no threat to you.” Oh, he would worm his way into her mind alright. She was certainly becoming interesting the more she spoke. He might decide to keep her around after all. 

“I am Zebadiah Killgrave. I can’t say I possess as many accomplishments as you; I’m a simple wanderer. A bit of a hedonist these days, considering the way people speak about me. But I was a doctor and a spy once, before the accident. I’m sure you’re not that interested in talking about me, when you find talking about yourself more enjoyable.”

//Mashima what the actual fuck are you doing?! Putting Kagura through that humiliation is not funny!!! She didn’t deserve to be treated like that at all! I’d rather see her run through with a sword a la Minerva style rather than being stripped naked in public.
