Time to say Good bye

Time passed too quickly, I remember writing about my tattoos and Shake and now I have to say goodbye.

It was a good experience, i loved writting about so many things that are important or interesting to me. 

At the beginning I did not have many expectations of this work but with the passage of time I began to like it and my favorite part was the freedom I had when writing, that made everything more interesting, being able to write about what I wanted and do it the way I better stay.

I feel that I improved my writing because I took the time to think about how to write and used my previous knowledge, I am nostalgic to say goodbye but I think I will be able to write here when I want to vent.

In general I really liked everything I saw in my English class and I liked the tasks, one of my favorites was doing the infographics, I like to do things like this and without a doubt this blog, I like to write, I like to tell women's stories important or just tell a recipe, tell an experience, a taste, all that is liberating for me and gratifying.

Pomodoro method

The method is based on the idea that regular breaks can improve mental alertness. 

Pomodoro method is a method to improve the management of the time dedicated to an activity. It was created by Francesco Cirillo in the late 80s.

It is based on using a timer to divide the time into indivisible intervals, called pomodoros, of 25 minutes of activity, followed by 5 minutes of rest, with longer pauses every four pomodoros.

STEPS

Decide the task or activity to perform.

Set the timer.

Work on the task intensively until the timer sounds.

Make a mark to note which pomodoro has been completed.

Take a short break.

Every four pomodoros, take a longer pause.

In planning, tasks can come from a "to do today" list. You can also try to estimate the effort that each task might require.

During the pomodoro, the focus is given to a single activity or task.

An essential goal of the technique is to eliminate interruptions, both due to oneself (internal), and to someone else (external). 

A pomodoro cannot be paused or divided; if it is not possible to postpone the interruption, the pomodoro is canceled to restart it later.

Pauses are dedicated to relaxing the focus, avoiding any activity. 

Registering a completed pomodoro is both to have a feeling of accomplishment and to have a database, about which later a reflection is made to improve.

The duration of the traditional pomodoro is 25 minutes, that of short breaks of 5 minutes and that of long breaks of 20 minutes. However, they can be adjusted to the ones that work best for each person.

Montecristo sandwich

Today I will teach you how to prepare a delicious Montecristo sandwich with ingredients that you have at home and that you can prepare for breakfast or dinner.

Ingredients:

Cheese

Ham

1 egg

3 slices of bread

5 tablespoons of milk

Spices of your choice

Butter

Mayonnaise

Preparation:

First we have to cut the corners of our three slices of bread. Second, we put mayonnaise on one of the face of the 3 slices, add the cheese and ham on the three slices, we combine all the slices very well after this, in a bowl we put the egg, the 5 tablespoons of milk and the spices you want, soak our sandwich here and we put to heat our pan with butter and when it is hot we put to cook our sandwich when it is golden on both sides it is ready to serve. This is the final result:

Lettering

When we talk about lettering, calligraphy, typography it is normal to find ourselves in a debate about who is who or which is which, I will explain each one below: 

1. Calligraphy is the basis of everything. Both lettering and typography are based on it. Unlike lettering, it consists of the letter writing paying attention to mode, direction, sequence and speed of the strokes. Another difference is its realization, since it must be yes or yes, by hand.

2. Typography is a set of characters with a design worked and studied specifically to be programmed and used on our computer. There is no possibility to make a font by hand.

What is lettering?

Lettering is the art of drawing letters. Lettering is a discipline in which the line between language and letter is crossed, turning letters and words into illustrative and pictorial artistic creations.

Types of lettering

Brush lettering: this type of lettering uses the brush as the predominant material in the creation. Different types of brushes can be used to create varied effects and you can use any type of paint that you like.

Chalk lettering: refers to lettering that uses chalk as a material. the usual surface to do it is on blackboard, chalk.

Hand lettering: here, in general, a pencil and pen are used, as the name implies, it consists of making letters by hand so it could well include the other two types of lettering. 

The style 

There are different styles of lettering with straighter, sloping, rounded letters, with more or less frills, over time and practice you will find the style and the one that suits you best.

The technique

Lettering in general is based on performing a correct technique, with practice and spending a little time everything will be better. The good thing about lettering is that there is no exact and perfect result and you don't need an innate talent to carry them out, but each one has their own style in which they have to feel comfortable and identified.

Maud Stevens Wagner

Once upon a time a woman named Maud who loved tattoos and she worked in a circus.

Maud was an amazing acrobat and contortionist. People went every night to the circus to see her fly through the air.

One day she met a man named Gus Wagner who had his whole body covered in tattoos: monkeys, butterflies, lions, horses, snakes, trees, women. Everything imaginable!

"I am a walking and talking work of art" said Gus.

Maud liked his tattoos so much that she agreed to go out with him but only if Gus tattooed her. Gus made her first tattoo and then the other and then the other...until maud's body was completely covered in tattoos.

Maud was learning fast, so soon she started working as a tattoo artist for other circuses and the public, while still performing in circuses and carnivals as an acrobat.

At that time tattoos were rare so people went to the circus to be amazed seeing women with little clothing and with their skin covered in ink.

Maud and Gus made such a good team that they became inseparable. Over time they got married and spread the art of tattooing throughout the country, not only in circuses.

Maud is the first American tattoo artist to be registered. 

Maud was born in the United States on February, 1877 and died on January 30, 1961

(I love this story, I love Maud, I love tattoos, I love ink, I love Maud for being who she was, for doing what she always dreamed of although it was difficult times she did not care about stereotypes, it is incredible how people can stand out following your dreams.)

Mary Edwards Walker

Once upon a time a girl named Mary who wore the clothes she wanted: bots, trousers, shirts and ties.

At that time people expected girls to wear dresses with tight corsets. It was difficult to move and breathe in clothes like that. But Mary’s parents believed that people in general could wear the clothes they wanted. Mary’s father was a self-taught Doctor who believed that her children could be happy if wear the clothes they wanted. Mary preferred boy clothes and that made her very happy. 

Her father encouraged her, her sisters and brothers to study. Mary wanted to be a doctor so she went to the School of Medicine and graduated as one of the first doctors of theUnited States.

She married with a doctor and at her wedding she wore trousers and jacket because she felt more comfortable with these clothes  than with the traditional wedding dresses. 

When the American civil war broke out Mary enlisted in the Union Army. Several times she was arrested for wearing men’s clothing but it was only clothing for her also she used what she wanted.

She saved many people during the American civil war and whent it ended she received a medal of honor. Mary wore her medal all her life, on the collar of her coat next to her tie.

Mary was born in the United States on November 26, 1832 and died on February 21, 1919

(I feel very identified with Mary, just as she always preferred to wear "boy's" clothes, now I wear skirts and short blouses but before I only wore big pants and T-shirts and I felt very comfortable, I still do it but now I am more versatile with my style, Mary is a great example, inspires me to follow my style and be brave. Everyone should know this nice story :).)

Isabel Allende

Not long ago, a passionate young woman named Isabel lived in Chile.

Isabel protested every time she was treated differently for being a woman. When someone said her that she could not do somenthing because she was a girl her heart burnerd with indignation. 

Isabel loved to write and and loved the stories of people so she became a journalist. 

One day she interviewed a famous Chilean Poet called Pablo Neruda. 

-You have a great imagination. You should write novels instead of newspaper articles- Said the poet .

Years later, Isabel received a bad notice about her grandfather who was dying. She was in Venezuela and she could not return to Chile to visit her grandfather so she wrote him a letter. 

Once she started she couldn't stop,  she wrote about her family, about living people and dead people. She wrote stories of passionate love, about a cruel dictator, a terrible earthquake, supernatural powers and ghosts. 

The letter was so long that it became a novel.

“La casa de los espíritus”, was a great sucess in sales that made Isabel one of the most famous novelists of our time. Since then she has written twenty more books and has won more than fifty literary awards. 

She was born in Chile on August 2, 1942.

(Isabel is a great writer for me, she writes from the bottom of her heart and soul, I really like her books, I appreciate her.)

A beautiful book

This book is about 100 women who have been important throughout world history. This book was written by: Elena Favilli and Francesca Cavallo. It was published in 2016. 

I chose two stories and in this publication i will write about one story and in the next publication i will write the other story. 

CORA CORALINA

Once upon a time a girl who lived in a house on a bridge and she knew that she had been born to be a poet but her family did not agree with this and they did not want her to read books, they only wanted her to get married and have children. When she grew up she married with a man, they moved to the big city and they had four children. Cora worked hard so her children could go to the school. 

Cora never forgot that she had been to be a poet so she wrote every day. When she was 60 years she lived again in the house on the bridge and she decided that was time to become a poet but she needed money she baked cakes and she sold them outside her house along with her poems.

Other poets and writers began to appreciate Cora’s poetry and she won awards and medals. When she was 65 years she published her first book. 

Journalists from around the world visited her to interview her while she baked. When they were leaving she would write again surrounded by the exquisite aromas of cakes and cookies. 

Cora was born in Brazil on August 20,1889 and died on April 10, 1985.

(Cora is a great example that we must not forget our dreams, we must fight for them and that even age is not an impediment to achieving them.)

Pizza without oven

I will teach you how to prepare a delicious pizza without oven and use ingredients that you have in your house. This pizza will be chesse and ham.

Ingredients:

Wheat flour.

Baking powder or yeast.

Salt.

Water.

Olive oil.

Cheese

Ham

Tomato sauce or tomato paste

Spices

Preparation:

We add half a tablespoon of yeast to the wheat flour mixture, salt to taste, a little olive oil and the water should be added little by little. 

Knead very well with your hands and after the mixture is done we will put it on a flat surface to knead.

Knead on a flat surface and let the dough rest for 10 minutes, then with a rolling pin we knead and shape our pizza. We put a pan with a little olive oil to heat and when it is ready we put our dough but we should not let it cook much because that will be the top of our pizza.

After cooking a little, we turn it over, put our tomato sauce, ham and finally the cheese without forgetting the spices to taste, we leave the time necessary for it to finish cooking.

My date

Today, i had a beautiful date with my boyfriend.

 We paint with aquarelle, we take some photographs, my boyfriend took photos of me, we talked a lot about different topics and we ate salchipapa. 

This date was so happy, we were very happy, i love him so much.

Before he arrived to my house i dressed up and put on makeup. I used a new blouse that he gave me with a black skirt and Converse with a black and white socks. My makeup was pink-red with the eyeliner and a red lipstick. 

When he arrived to my house, we went to a beautiful park from my neighborhood. We put a blanket on the grass and we and we sit down to talk, then he took me some photographs for me and we had a lot of fun.  

Finally we paint two sailor moon cats with aquarelle. We left that park and we ordered two salchipapas from a restaurant and we ate at my home.

My boyfriend left after a while and next weekend we will see each other again

My brother

I have one brother, her name is Carlos, he is older than me by three years.

Carlos is 19 yearsl old, he is an intelligent person and he loves the mathematics. 

Actually, he studies at the University of Tolima, he studies Mathematics, he wants to be a teacher in the future. He is a solitary person, he doesn’t have many friends but i think that is not important to him. 

He lives with my grandmother so i see him sometimes. 

I do not know with certainty what things he likes because sometimes he is a neutral person well he is always neutral :C but i know that he likes to play in her computer, he likes to watch animes, he likes cats, he likes tattoos, he likes to eat junk food and he is a very organized person.

He is a good boy, he doesn't like to drink, he doesn't go out to parties or things like that, he likes to lead a quiet life and stay home.

I love her so much and i’m proud of him.

My sister

I have one sister, her name is Camila and she is my old sister.

Camila is 28 years old, she is a very inteligent person, i think she is smartest person i know and i lover her so much.

Camila studied literature and spanish language from the University of Tolima and currently works at the Luis Angel Arango library in Bogotá. 

She loves to travel around the world, she visited many countries but her favorite country is Mexico, she knows Mexico, Spain, Ecuador, Bolivia, Germany, Italy, France, Switzerland and i don’t remember other countries. 

She loves cats, she loves to read, she knows a lot of literature, she loves listening to music, she likes the weather of Bogotá, she likes to write and other things.

I can trust her.

She is a beautiful person and i love her so much. 

I’m very proud of her.

Guns N' Roses

Guns N’ Roses is an american band of hard rock formed in Hollywood. The group was founded by Axl Rose and Izzy Stradlin. Is one of the most important rock bands of the time.

Guns N’ Roses is considered a global music icon and is part of the prestigious Rock and Roll Hall of Fame also is considered one of the most influential bands in history due to its great musical legacy.

In 2011 they were positioned at number "21" in the list of "the 100 best artists in history", prepared by Rolling Stone magazine in conjunction with various producers and music critics.

The current lineup features vocalist Axl Rose, rhythm guitarist Richard Fortus, keyboardists Dizzy Reed and Melissa Reese, drummer Frank Ferrer, bassist Duff McKagan, and lead guitarist Slash. These last two are considered classic members of the group and after an absence of 23 years, they returned to their place in the band.

This band had many members but the ones that brought it to fame were: Axl Rose, Slash, Izzy Stradlin, Duff Mckagan, Steven Adler.

I love this band, this band is my favorite band of Rock.  The first time I heard them I was 13 years old and I loved them.

EUPHORIA

Euphoria is a serie that talks about the drogadiction, sex, prostitution, social networks, love, relationships, identity, friendship and trauma.

The protagonist of this serie is Rue, she is a drug addict and she just got out of rehab but she is a still drug addicted. She lives with her mom and her littler sister “Gia” then got out of rehab she met Jules and they become best friends. Jules is a transgender girl that lives with her father and she likes casual sex with men.

Rue returns to school and here we begin to know the different lifestyle of different people.

Maddie is a popular girls who has a group of friends who are they “Casie” “Kat and “Barbara”, Maddie had recently ender her relatinship with Nate, Nate is the best soccer player of the school, in a party Maddie had sex with a stranger and Nate later hit him because Maddie told him that he had raped her.

Nate has a trauma with his father because when he was a little boy he found pornographic videos of his father with transsexuals. 

Kat enters the world of sex calls in which she gets a lot of money and starts buying clothes and makeup.

And a lot of things happen in this series, here is a little bit of everything, this is just a little bit of information, it is a very good series, I think it is one of my favorites.

VIS A VIS

Macarena is a naive young woman who, induced by her boss, commits several crimes of manipulation and embezzlement of accounts in the company where she works. She is discovered and accused of four tax crimes, for which she is held preventively in the Cruz del Sur prison. There she faces the emotional shock of entering the prison, and the complicated relationships between the inmates, including Zulema, the most dangerous prison inmate.

The series reflects the day-to-day life of prisoners and a group of officials in a penitentiary and the transformation of a harmless person, apparently incapable of doing harm, into a survivor who leaves his scruples aside. The fight for survival thus marks the coexistence between the prisoners, characterized by alliances, betrayals and revenges both between inmates and between officials.

CANELA

Canela is a dog.

Canela is my cousin´s dog.

Canela is four years old.

Canela is black and brown.

Canela was abandoned in a box outside of “EL CAMPITO DE KATHY”  where she was with her little brothers so Canela was rescued of “EL CAMPITO DE KATHY” when she was a baby, Canela was in bad conditions because she was very baby and she was malnourished,canela had no life expectancy and had the swimming puppy syndrome.

One day my cousin decided to adopt a dog so she went to “EL CAMPITO DE KATHY” and Canela ran to my cousin so my cousin chose the little Canela.

It was love at first sight.

Canela was very sick and full of parasites then my cousin took her to the vet and they gave her all the medicines.

Now canela is a very noble and sweet dog, she is very spoiled, she likes to run, she likes to be in her bed, she is very playful, she likes to kiss with her tongues and also she likes take a nap after lunch. 

The aliases are: Negrita, blacky, angel and canelita.

Canela has a lot of love, we all love her very much and deserve the best in the world.

DARK

Dark is a science fiction and supernatural drama series.

The series tells the story of 4 families from Winden, a small town in Germany. The main actions take place in the present, during the year 2019, when the mysterious disappearance of two children from the community, as well as other peculiar incidents, recall similar situations that occurred in 1986. From there, the series will take place at different times, always separated from each other by 33-year cycles. It is through all these moments that the unknowns will be discovered, and the relationship and origin of the characters and the circumstances that triggered the entire story.

The first season premiered on Netflix on December 1, 2017 with a total of 10 episodes, while the second season had 8 episodes and was uploaded to the platform on June 21, 2019.

On May 30, 2019, through a video from the official Netflix YouTube account, the renewal for a third and final season was announced, with which they hope to close all the loose ends of the first two installments.
