What color does the elemental power of Storm corresponds to?

Well, I usually settled on a range of blues or purples, with yellow highlights somewhere on the design. Since she has multiple facets to her power, I tend to give her a bit of a range of color rather than just sticking to one. With saying that though, her main color is the color of her hoodie, a darker blue.

I'm redesigning her ninja gi at the moment, so I dont' have a solid image of that, but hopefully these will do! A lot of my work with her is in sketches rather than finished pieces ;-;

Storm is my main ninjago OC, I have some other ones (villain of her story, side characters, etc) but I haven't written out her story that far so no spoilers ;)

Slight note, I write based on seasons 1-7 so new lore and element stuff doesn't really apply. I take some of the logic/information and use it to my advantage, but I prefer the old characterizations and world building personally.

Storm is her name, though it isn't her original name. She chose it after she ended up working her way out of the foster system and going off on her own. Parents died when she was young due to the Stone Warrior attack (it was originally the Great Devourer attack but after Harumi took that backstory I altered it- I had that for like 7 years before Harumi claimed it but I didn't want it to look like I was copying.) She's around 17-18 at the start of her story.

Her powers are, well, storm-type abilities. Water, electricity, and wind. Her powers are a sub-type though- we have the main elements and then sub elements that branched off through the family lines. She isn't directly related to Jay or Nya, but the genes ended up reaching her and becoming active into a new element type. Because it's a subtype though, she has to have access to an element source in order to use them. Ex. water bottles and batteries. Unlike the ninja, she can't make her element out of nothing.

Technically I guess it was made by the FSM? But as I said before, I built a system through gene lines and plot convenience haha. Basically there can only be one holder of each element at a time, but that element when without a holder can jump to the youngest in the gene pool. Storm was an anomaly where she had both sets of gene pools via her parents (her mom was electricity, her dad water, both far branched off the family trees) so a new sub element was created. It's unknown whether that sub element will live on post Storm, or if it's a one-type occurrence.

Lloyd does have his powers, as my story is slotted between the Day of the Departed and Season 7, after Cole is turned back to a human but before they move into the new monastery. However, I have him off training with Wu during my story. It always bugged me how little Lloyd was actually given training to be a sensei, so for my own interest (and plot convenience) I set Lloyd and Wu aside and left the ninja to fend for themselves. There are quite a few things I did for my own writing convenience (redesigning the Bounty, slotting some extra time between seasons, etc) but a while back I realized how f'ed the ninjago timeline and lore consistency could be so I decided to just do what I want lol.

final batch of rise color palettes! i tried to include each form the character takes on as a bonus :) i might do more for some villains eventually, but this is all i’ve got for now

note for big mama: there seems to be some instances in which her human!form appearances more pink-ish. but, given that the purple tint is more common, that’s the one used
