My Piece for Soulsmake!

this was the piece my assigned soulmate and I worked on for the Soulsmake event! I was the artist of the duo, so my art is basing on the general idea and characters in the story!

I see so many twts of people wanting Scott to be alone next season just "to see what would happen"-

And what will probably happen is that he will partly insert himself into everything and just be nice to everyone but not necessarily loyal to everyone

Like he's going to be completely neutral and there are some benefits and drawbacks to this

Cause He will not have a team to rely on when things get difficult

However, like in a many Life series when his team turns red the immediately turn on him, and he won't have to deal with this moral dilemma of not wanting to kill his teammates, because he ain't teamed with anyone

Extreme spoilers for after life smp (been out for 2 years), X life (out for 4 years), New life (out for 1 year) and SolidarityGamings Minecraft pillars w/smallishbeans Smajor and the orion sound(out for 1 month) and pretty much every life series

I’ve seen people saying

1 Scott should should spend one 1️⃣ season without in a team just to see what would happen. Being completely neutral? Villain arc?Being a major target? And I agree that would be fun!!!(im also manifesting a divorce quartet team so Cleo can get their first “official” win so people will stop excluding them, or a renscott team up)

2 He should be an early red and I agree that would be fun, but EXTREMELY unlikely. I’ve been binging a lot of his old series’s and it’s incredibly evident how good he is at surviving (I’ve often joked about how Martyn's watcher lore says that they hate him because his will to live is too strong when he ends up sacrificing himself half the time). He’s so good at it that it causes major pacing issues in series’s like afterlife(where in 23 eps he spends 6 as a moth 7 as a vampire and then the next 10 episodes rapidly trying to get rid of his 8 remaining lives) and its even more obvious in X life (where out of 48 episodes he looses his first life in the 2nd episode and doesn’t loose the next one until episode 30!!! The rest of his lives are lost in the last 6 episodes, including the last episode, where he starts on six lives and makes it a game to kill himself in ways he hasn’t died before.) and then again in New life (out of 14 episodes 6 as a transporter 4 as a fungal mage 2 as a haunted doll 1 as an lightmancer and the final episode as a butterfly)

The only way I think he’s getting out early if the people good at pvp/ traps get out early and target him(I’ve seen a clip of Gem saying she’ll team up with joel to target him) but the only way that will work is if they remember he exists! I don’t know if people have seen the list of how many times life series members have been included in other people’s thumbnails but Scott is second to last above Lizzie, who has only been in last life, secret life, wild life and one episode of limited life. He’s below Gem who wasn’t in the first 4 seasons.

And honestly I think that helps a bit on why he survives so long. I don’t know how many people have seen Jimmys Minecraft pillars video but that’s a perfect example of what ends up happening, Scott’s winning->people say they’ll target him-> they forget he exists->they target each other-> Scott wins. It’s one of the reasons I’m such mean gills fan. Martyn is one of the few people (along side Joel even thought he ends up forgetting and kind of mumbojumbo especially in wild life) who realizes how strong an opponent Scott is. That’s why I’m never Salty about the finale betrayal in limited life because it proves that he sees him as a strong threat.

Anyways, can you guys tell I’m a Smajor fan? Is it obvious that I frequently spin him around in my mind? I’m soooo excited for him to tour Hermit Craft with Cleo they are literally one of my favorite duos

We've each been given a guest--and you know what, I'm going back in--we've each been given a guest, um--basically, a guest pass, to have our friends come in, and, uh...experience the server, and, uh, I chose Scott, um, so. I don't, like--there were two people I could've chosen--I think you probably know who the other one was--but the other one was already being invited, um, so, they had equal weight in my mind, and I was like, well, so long as they're both coming, I'm very happy! Um, so, ah. I invited Scott, and Scott was just like, (excited) "oh yes yes yes, I would love to, thank you for thinking of me!" And I'm like, "dude. You're like the first person I thought of." (Cleo laughs) And it was just like, obviously.

PAST LIFE SPOILERS!!!!

Ohhhh I have so many thoughts on the finale.

First, Jimmy did so well oh my god!!! Genuinely so happy for him and also damn he got so close man :’)

I really thought it was over as soon as he turned red but he was so locked in from that point onward.

Obviously we’ve got a repeat winner. I wasn’t looking forward to it but felt like it was inevitable. I’m glad it was one of the EVO guys just for lore reasons. Would’ve loved a Jimmy or BigB win but was still very happy when it was between Grian and Martyn.

Lore aside would’ve loved an Etho win but unfortunately he just got more and more washed up as they went through the updates.

Martyn defeating Grian, the final villain was also cool just within the Past Life story itself.

I think we’ve had enough seasons now that I can’t be too mad about a repeat winner. I’d rather have repeat winners than have the top players stop trying and just giving up for the sake of others winning so I’m glad that’s not happened.

All that being said I should probably start adding a row below for the next season instead of adding the next winner on the side cause it’s getting ridiculous
