My memorable intramurals experience

October 25, 2023 an unforgettable journey of sportmanship. The fact that this was my first intramural experience. I experienced mixed emotions of excitement, happiness and nervousness. What happened today was amazing but before we started we first had the opening ceremony but i was not there because l was preparing for mr and ms intramurals but that’s okay, after that we had the lighting of the torch and the campus was buzzed with energy as students from different formed teams. After the lighting of the torch we had the oath of amateurism the purpose for this is to take part the competition in a spirit of fair play after that everyone was so excited for the band and the band played the famous song from Philippines that is called raining in Manila, when the song started playing everyone was so hyped up after the band we had the mr and ms intramurals in this part I was so nervous because I was one of the candidates but when it started I realized I was not nervous at all. After that there was a lot of performances and everyone performed so well. What happened in the afternoon was also amazing because I played badminton with my classmates and we enjoyed playing and after we played badminton the high schoolers started playing volleyball and guess what my team won! But i’m still happy for the other team because they did their best. We also had the basketball and my team also won and i’m so happy that everyone did their best In that day. 

October 26, 2023 another unforgettable day of sportmanship. What happened today is different from the other day because some of the students are not present but that’s okay but I was still happy since I watched the basketball players play and it was really fun to watch. After that we went back to school to eat lunch and I didn’t get to eat my lunch that my mom prepared because one of my classmates had their birthday and we had free lunch after that I went home. 

October 27, 2023 the best day. Today is the most awaited by all because today will be the announcing of winners. We were the first one to perform and we did a great job after our performance was the cheerdance and they also did a great job. After all those performances the host announced the winners. The winner was the other team and i’m happy for them and my other teammates got emotional since we didn’t won and for me that’s really okay as long as we tried our best and plus we enjoyed our 3 days of intramurals. We were still a team and should accept others victory. The secret to build a strong team is love, support, unity and sportsmanship.
