hi all ! i figured i would make a proper intro post for all of u who follow my work on tumblr !

my name is kira (they/them) and i am a queer, genderfluid, mixed filipinx artist and crafter ! i live in southern california with my partner of 8 years and our rabbit named spicy!

my main crafts that i share here are those that i sell in my shop (strangebun.com) which are mainly polymer clay stitch markers/progress keepers and mini quilts/quilted coasters !

i am a knitter primarily but i also spin my own yarn as well, which i share more of over on my instagram @strangebunn so feel free to follow me there if that's interesting to u :-)

craft space morning + afternoon :-)

wanted to take some time to appreciate the really kind words people have been leaving me in tags regarding my quilts !! it means a lot and i see all of them so thank u for appreciating my craft! <3

a cutie pile of mini quilts :’-) feeling really proud of the quilts i made for this shop update (which is live right now! strangebun.bigcartel.com!) 

a little info about my mini quilts: these are all completely handsewn from beginning to end! i sew them with gutterman cotton thread, hand quilt with sashiko thread, and use a combination of linen and quilting cotton for the patchwork, binding, and backings ! oh and i use 100% wool batting :-)
