According to Salt Lake City’s Fox 13, arresting documents describe a child climbing out of a window and running to a neighbor’s home to ask for food and water. The neighbor noticed that the child had duct tape on their wrists and ankles and called the police. Another child was found at the home the first one escaped from, which belongs to Franke’s business partner and therapist Jodi Hildebrandt.

Viewers of “8 Passengers” and investigative vloggers have flagged Franke’s concerning behavior around feeding and withholding food from her children for a long time. In one video, Franke brags about not feeding her kids breakfast until they do their chores, despite them being “literally starving.” In another, Franke explains the reasoning behind not bringing her hungry 6-year-old lunch at school, because it’s actually the kid’s responsibility to pack her own lunch. It’s all deranged.

Why do people that hate kids ever have kids? And why do they have such strong urges to share their evil with others? I guess it’s…ATTENTION and MONEY.

One can’t help but notice the unfortunate pattern of Youtubers or parenting influencers on any platform who’ve compromised their children’s wellbeing. Remember Myka Stauffer, who “rehomed” her adopted child with special needs in 2020? Or the “FamilyofFive” parents, who were convicted of child abuse in 2017 for the elaborate and cruel “pranks” they pulled on their children? The parenting choices these people made are upsetting enough, but their incessant need to capitalize off of them for content at their children’s expense is horrific.

i think it’s so funny how bill doesn’t understand why mike was like ‘i need to show YOU specifically’ and mike essentially had to explain that literally all of them are in love with bill and will do anything he says like xnnxnxnx this dude is full of self loathing he doesn’t know the power his jorts had

every time i hear or read something like “it’s a love story in its own right” or “horror movie version of brokeback mountain” or “its actually not vague in the book” i get overwhelmed with elation but then i get punched in the gut with the reminder that regardless, the movie will end with eddie dead

mike wheeler is the most ride or die person to ever live, like he knew el for like thirteen minutes and was already like “if anything happened to you i would kill everybody here and then myself”. he jumps off cliffs for his best friends. he spends multiple days in the same pair of jeans and hoodies to sit by his friends hospital bed.

but in 1x07, when nancy says she was worried about him, mike says “uhhhh” before saying he was worried about her, too. because mike can’t seem grasp that people could care about him the way he cares about them.

So, people dislike Max now? Why? Because she was the only teen girl role model in El’s life who taught her that a lying boyfriend isn’t something she needs to put up with? Because she made amends with El and supported her for the entire season? Or is it because she got in the way of precious mileven moments that wouldn’t have allowed El to grow for herself, learn what she likes, and be independent without Mike? 

Stop kidding yourselves, El learned more with Max in a week than she has through the first two seasons. She showed El that she could survive without Mike, which is exactly when El needed — especially since she moved away from Mike. Max is an incredible badass character who doesn’t deserve the hate she’s getting. And I’m not taking any criticism at this time.
