He had rowlet for his starter when he started school and it evolved over time and it’s hisuian because it fits his vibes better than regular decidueye honestly I don’t know how that would work in canon

Dragonair

He was fished up dratini while skipping school with the jomies in freshman year and it stayed with him ever since

Absol

His dead dads (head canon) absol it would constantly keep him out of trouble and warn him about bullies and events in his life

Arcanine

Emotional support growlithe that evolved like how people have emotional support animals irl in the Pokémon universe there’s emotional support Pokémon in the Pokémon universe (theory/headcannon)

Gardevoir

Ralts in its ruby Dex entry says that it appears before trainers with a positive disposition and Jake for the most part is a positive person especially before middle school and bullying in general and over time that Ralts evolves and it’s friends with daisys Gallade initially I though that Jake would have a gallade but but I think that gardevoir fits him a little better

Fuecoco

Fuecoco helped Jake (along with daisy) to get back into singing and music as in the anime Roy’s fuecoco enjoys singing so it isn’t that farfetched that the fuecoco would too and skeledirge is a musical Pokémon in its dex entrys

people have valid criticism for the pjo show, but I honestly can’t even be bothered by the show’s flaws because I’m so invested in the plot.

Just say somebody on YT say Drew used 'psychological manipulation' to get Jake out of the club and that he was 'very possessive of him and treats him like property' (whilst overlooking that Hailey did the same thing in a way) ...um, excuse me, what??!

Like, look, Drew certainly has issues and he is definitely an asshole, buy manipulation?! That's a tad bit too far. Also, uh, Drew treating Jake like property, what!?

Maybe I misunderstood or am just biased cuz I kin Drew, but that can't be right.

I don't think he ever manipulated Jake; I mean you could argue that when he and the Jomies had him say the horrible things about the club, they were 'manipulating' him, but he wasn't alone in doing so?

Look, I have no idea what I'm saying. Am I missing something here? Is Drew actually manipulative? If so, then I have to do some serious reconsidering of certain things

Now that I really think about it a lot of people wouldn’t even care about the audio at all because I’m pretty sure that the jomies arent the clubs only bullies and or they just don’t like them at all and people who were excited would probably just be disappointed and the rest would just be like oh shit and just carry on with their day

Okay, The Music Freaks, question, that honestly every episode that goes by just makes me more desperate for answers:

If Drew bulles Hailey and Zander for being “music freaks” then why did he go out of his way to befriend Jake who, at the time, was also considered a freak for the exact same musical passion?

Rosy please I need answers I keep accidentally writing multiple paragraph long rants and speculations about this, my brain is frying.

Fun fact

So when I was researching character names I found out that jakes last name sterling old english origins along with scottish ones due to fact people with the last name sterling have ancestors who were part of a scottish tribe called the picts who settled in the scottish city of Stirling. Also sterling is middle english for coins or money. Also also the name sterling has similarity's with the word starling which means bird. So all in all jake is either part British or part Scottish which I think is pretty cool
