Thinking back on the fight with the Endsinger: I don't think enough people realise the possibility that the WoL verged on giving into despair right when Meteion set upon the whole group.

The WoL certainly seemed very brave, sending off the clearly overwhelmed Scions to fight solo, but I read it a bit differently.

They were scared.

Of losing, and then of not being able to shield the others from what would follow after. I can imagine their thought process going:

"If I can't stop this thing, I should at least give the others a headstart on getting away to finish the work."

They doubted they could do it. They definitely did.

And I can imagine all the dynamis just magnified that.

Then they got a dramatic leg up.

Zenos burst in there; appalled that the enemy was even still alive, his absolute faith that the WoL would win undoubtedly injected a much needed boost to their power.

Bruh went: "Caught you slacking huh? Can you hurry up and clean house like I know you will, we need to PvP."

The more I think on it, the more glaring it is, the WoL may very well have died if he hadn't turned up, long before the Scions prayers would have been offered.

One big thing giving me hope right now is how many people are switching from major brands. It’s damn near impossible to escape the evil oligarchy. It’s so much work! We’re all exhausted and way over capacity so it takes a lot to make people seek out inconvenient alternatives to Amazon, Spotify, Etsy, Target, Harry Potter, etc.

This year however, people have finally Had It. Every day I hear more people switching up their habits and suggesting alternatives. It’s galvanizing to see industry titans take huge hits to their profits.

I’m living for this momentum.

saw an absolutely hilarious animal crossing theory that i now 100% accept and it’s that in the animal crossing world, humans are going extinct, and so all the animals have locked you in an elaborate zoo enclosure and are trying to give you enrichment. and that’s why they give you infinite pointless tasks, hide money in trees and rocks, invented debt that doesnt matter etc. it’s why they always act so happy to see you even after you raze the entire island, relocate their houses twice, and always act so pleased about your choices no matter what. it’s all to keep their little endangered human healthy and enriched. and thinking of it this way has genuinely improved my experience of the game
