STUDY BUDDIES (Lee Daehwi High School AU Fluff Imagine)

You were sitting at the library, stacks of books was already towering you. Loads of information was rushing so fast in your brain that you cannot understand what you are reading anymore. The exams are coming already at your doorstep. Two days only remains and you don’t want to get a low score on your exam. You stood up and silently went to the bookshelves to find another book that hopefully will sink in to you this time.

Your hands slowly skimming all over the titles of the books when you felt someone’s presence behind you and it was your boyfriend, Lee Daehwi. He was hugging his textbooks and a smile on his face.

“Hello Y/N!” he said as he waved at you.

“Hi Daehwi!” you replied as you turned around and faced the bookshelf. Today was rather odd for Daehwi especially the way you treated him. It was… well cold. He slowly held your hand which made you turn to him again.

“Is something wrong? You look like your going to be sick.” He asked staring at you worriedly. Placing a hand on your forehead. Daehwi have never seen you so hectic. You were always calm.

“Y…yeah I just… I need to study Daehwi. I’m fine.”  you said giving him a reassuring smile.

“You sure? But I think you need a break.” He said pouting at you. It never came up to you to have a break for a while. To relax a little bit. You guess he’s right. You badly need a break.

“I guess your right. I need a break, plus maybe it would help me refresh my mind.” you said as his pout turned into a cute smile that you always love.

“Yay!” He said whispering since he remembered that you two were inside the library. Causing you to smile at his cuteness.

As you two walked in the hallway, you were bombarded with questions from your boyfriend that doesn’t seem to end.

“You should have a study buddy so that it will be easier for you. Why won’t you study with me anyway?” He asked as you two arrived at the school’s cafeteria.

“Eh… it’s just that I’m that type of person who wants to study alone.” You said looking at your feet. Daehwi found your gesture cute that he poked your cheek lightly.

“You don’t get to study well with a study buddy? And not even with me? You didn’t even tried yet, let’s give it a try okay!” he said and pulled you inside the cafeteria. He made you sit and then went to buy you something.

After a while, he came back with your favorite drink on his hand. He placed it gently in front of you and sat beside you. “Oh! I brought some chocolates. I hope it helps you study.” He took one chocolate bar out of his backpack and gave it to you.

“Thanks Daehwi.” and he just smiled at you. Daehwi opened his textbook and started lecturing you with the lesson that you found difficult.

You don’ t know what came into you that you found it interesting to stare at him. You seem to find his reactions adorable especially the way he would pout and the edge of his pencil would be under his pouted lips and the way his eyebrows furrowed every time he would be thinking.

“Y/N? Hey, are you listening?” he asked and you were out of his trance.

“I…I’m sorry.” you said as blush forms in your cheeks. He giggled at how you reacted.

“I think I know now why you always reject my idea of being study buddies.” He said as a sly smirk appeared on his lips.

“Huh? What?” you responded.“You kept staring at me. Do I always make you lose focus? ” he teased you. Unaware of the effects he has on you.

Unable to reply, you just hid your face with your hands and then furiously nod.  He slowly removed your hands and then made you faced him.

“If that’s the case, then focus on me okay! So that you can listen to every word I say.” he said smiling at you cheerfully.
