reflioint on fundies

I am not the most stuend in this coures I have probably missed some things in this class for homework etc. I think the problem is that I already know how to use 75% of the programs that we were being talt so it was boring for me. but the ups sides is that I did learn some new things and I didn't know too much on Indesign so that was great. I now near only use the pen tool for all the work in illsterther and not do masks for photos shop and edited photos alot more now.

what I have learnt is pen tool is great, photoshop masking and edinting and learning most of indesign formatting and images and linking files and chaternr and partegarhs styles

what I have also learned is pasointed and that I need to get better and posting/ wriintoing notes on all my work and that it is nice to revist some thing.

this corese is needed but I feel there needs to be a speed up class because I knew most of the stuff already so at times it was gruelling to sit thourgh or maybe shorted the leange of the class and people can stay if they are having trouble.

if I have trobble or can't rembmeber things I can always come back here which is nice but I prbbly just seach a video to find what I want to do and also leanrning a few terms on design prganmes has helped me find the things that I want help with in seach results.

this is us learning how to do mockups this was a nice revist to what i did in high school just remidiinge me what a smart oject is and placing the files and images saving it.

this is the book that we had to make of neary ryemes I didn't put too much effort into it becase we had other porjects due on the same day. I did all the illetarones on illsterater and just used the pen tool and clibming masks and played with partaggh styles and chaters stlyes but not much becuese it just look clean like this

I found the editing of the patteis intresting and seeing that you change how the pattel is shaped insted of just grid format you can chagne it to hexgon or something else. also chnageing colors aswell in it.

I found this prettiy cool seeing how easy it is to make your own patenis and swatchs. all you need to do is make somting thats squea add a drawing or pattien then just select it then drag it in to the swatchs panel then its all done.

today we learn about master pages that is when you add to it chages all the other pages. we also learnt about nubmering to the pages insted of adding them indvialeral which shortens time.

for indesign its like setting up all the plan and fouditon so that when you start adding to the doucment it becomes strem line and easirs to chage things then adding them while your working on the main contect

we then leartd about photos and linking it.

so that if you changed the photo on photos shop it will change in indesign so the same thing as a few weeks ago with illster and photoshop.

we also learned abuot placeint the photo and wrapign it arond text which was just pressing two buttoin/ icons and pastieing into other shapes

we then lead how to do bullet points which is useing the pargraoh style again but then just going into settings and addign bullet points then chagiing the where the text will be placeed a bit to fit it more

I then learn about charcter style which is nearly the same to preagens style but jsut for indvielasl words and can do pragrhas

I learn about that you can attalched pargarths stsyes and that you can a sign didiffint fonts to size and etc to the pargrahs by clicking them. its like makeing all the prsetes then asigning them.

you can also do the same for headings

the second itsltater thing I pretty happy with it I decedic to have a more cartoon look becasue it looked better to me.

when I first tryed to make it a I try to make it one shape I then deicede that it was not the best way and made the buger from starding at the bootom to the top.

the most annoying part was the leastes I was trying the gradindt tool since it worked well for the buns and it did have some succeuse but I think if I did this again I would put more time on the leattes and problby reafesde invidbaels pieace then just stack and lay it.

this was really indterdisting to me becuase I didn't know that I could conect illetere fillesd to photoshop and what ever you do in illtsitoern show on photoshop after you save it and you can move to object of with lays eticers and do masking tool.

this I found interisding using the photo then buy masking a scerind part of it then but erusing, coulering , and smaginog the masked layer you can cut out the persoin for the photo. I was a lot more conddiene this time in doing it then the boats.

the hair was hard so I jsut use a soft brush to bring in the parts I wanted and just some radinonm bids of pcizxl the dond really have anyting

I dicidlud that deldine thing in the mask lay as a pain and to fix the issue I had to resatert.

the left was made by using cilcles and pathfidner to make them hollow and by useing lays to give the effct of going fast.

left photo is the bird thing which i fogot what it was. used the same shape to make some feather highlights

the right is the shape of the beck.

the eyes ai had to do three sparead shaped made with pen tool. I for the puibler of the eyes I used a chilel then got the eye shape. and used pathfidner to make it fit well with the eye. the eye brows were annoy to get right.

body for bird the right was my first attmepd with jsut he pen tool. second time using the pen tool and the reflect tool to copy it to make it more sermtraley. I was annoying to press but the reuaslt is what I wanted

the drawing in the top left was the idea and ruff skeck of it.

could have joined the body together but I felt that grouping it was find and i waon't going to touch it. bur next time I'll join them.
