Raw Synthetic
Collection 01
In collaboration with Sharp Point Blinds.
Synthetic waste, designed with raw approach in understanding the specific characteristic of the material itself.
Mars! worked with fellow designers, Cynthia Margaretha, Christian Purwadihardja, Novita Riandini, and Tasya Musyawan, to explore techniques of treating the material, and discovering how this fabric distinct itself from other materials. Is it paper? Is it fabric? Or is it something in between?
Starting from this point of view, Mars! then develop the techniques further, and produce tangible and functional products.
As a result, a line of living-wares is created.
