"You might want to thank her for genetics as well, you are stunning," Phillip winked, sipping his drink. "You wouldn't believe the weird conversations I've had. I've never been one to mind weird. Canada, you say? I've never been but I've heard it's lovely."
“Avery, that’s a very pretty name,” Phillip grinned, swirling the drink around the glass he had purchased at what he considered overpriced. “Oh no, I don’t mind it at all. It’s a conversation starter, a built in one. I’m from Liverpool, England. What about yourself?”
“I’ll have to thank my mom next time I see her for the pretty name,” Avery laughed before taking a sip of her drink. “Just want to make sure it’s not weird or anything. But, hey, it does give us something. Liverpool, eh? That’s better than me. I’m just from Toronto, Canada.”

Name: Jesimae Katona Birthday: November 1, 1963 Age: 53 Sign: Scorpio Chinese Zodiac: Rabbit Positive Traits: Resourceful, Observant, Intense, Passionate, Loyal Negative Traits: Secretive, Jealous, Manipulative, Obsessive, Unyielding Biography: In the days of myths and legends, the hunter Orion boasted to the goddess of the hunt Artemis and her mother Leto that he would kill every animal on Earth. Artemis, who was a hunter herself, also happened to protect all animals on Earth. Artemis and her mother Leto sent a scorpion to do battle with Orion, killing the hunter. The god Zeus had his attention captured and decided to immortalize both the scorpion and Orion, as the constellations Scorpious and Orion respectively. The resourcefulness that the scorpion exhibited in battle led to resourcefulness becoming the key trait of those born under the constellation of Scorpious. Born in Santa Monica, California; Jesimae's parents were French immigrants who moved in order to be closer to Hollywood, due to the fact that her mother was an actress. Jesimae grew up in the rich and lavish lifestyle of Hollywood until her mother was accused of the murder of her husband. Jesimae was sent to live with her grandparents back in France, where she lost rich lifestyle. Jesimae fought tooth and nail to rise back into the world of the rich, coming back to America and working as a lawyer for those in lavish lifestyles who could pay her to live her own lifestyle. This led to the god Hades deciding to offer Jesimae the position as his representative to the counsel of the twelve. Jesimae decided to accept, wanting to use the position to make even more out of her life.

Name: Raina Mercier Birthday: September 26th, 1985 Age: 31 Sign: Libra Chinese Zodiac: Ox Positive Traits: Fair, Peace-Keeper, Tactful, Charming, Easy-Going Negative Traits: Indecisive, Naive, Self-Indulgent, Detached, Grudge carrying Biography: In the days of myths and legends, the goddess Themes was the divine personification of order, fairness, law, and custom. In order to decide what was fair and lawful, the goddess used scales to weigh the support and opposition for each argument that was brought upon her. These scales, referred to as the Scales of Justice, became immortalized in both the sky as the constellation Libra and as the concept of justice. Due to the role the Scales played, all those born under the constellation of Libra were born with the traits of fairness and peace-keeping. These traits also dictated the very important role that Libra plays for the Counsel of The Twelve: the unaffiliated leader and peacekeeper. Born in Laurel, Mississippi; Raina Mercier was the middle of five children. At an early age, she learned how to do two things. The first was that she learned how to negotiate between her siblings fairly. The second was that she developed a love for fashion. She always liked making clothes for both herself and her friends. This led to her becoming a fashion designer after college, where she had gotten her degree in fashion with a minor in business. It was while Raina was working on her fashions that she met a seemingly homeless woman that she befriended. She would bring her friend clothing, food, and one day even offered her a place to live. It was when she offered the woman a place to stay that the woman revealed herself to be the goddess Athena. Athena was impressed by the woman's sense of fairness and offered her the position as the head of the counsel of the twelve, which Raina accepted.

Osei made a note that he must thank the woman who had made the suit he wore right now. Headed into a high scale party, one had to look the best that he could. Osei felt good, and for once it wasn't just his self-confidence. He grabbed two flutes of champagne from a passing attendant, smiling charmingly as he made his way to the well dressed woman who stood surrounded by others. "You looked as if you could use one of these," Osei charmingly grinned, holding one of the flutes out to her. @thedepxrted

Dylon didn't typically spend much time away from the shore. Usually, the thought of other people made him want to clam up and not do anything. But it had been at least a month since he had done repairs on his bed and breakfast, and that required going into town for supplies. He had been heading into the store when he accidentally bumped into someone. He looked very apologetic, but offered no hand to help the other person up. "Sorry about that." @spiritedwarriors

"Once, but I wasn't me nor were you...well...you," Castor confessed, though he was certain that the woman would consider him insane. "I was Castor, you...you were Helen of Troy. You were my sister."
stvrsiign:
Castor shook his head, “My brother doesn’t always answer the phone. He’s flighty, doesn’t always do what he should. Funny, considering I’m the one who travels for a living.”
He sat on the rocking chair in the room, grinning gently.
“Ye feel it to, don’t ye?”
“That is rather funny,” Aurora smiled softly, looking down at the material in her hands before glancing back up at him. “I…yes.” She didn’t see the point in lying. She felt it, felt that she knew him but she just couldn’t figure out how. “Have I met you?”

Phillip usually tried to stay away from nightclubs. They were loud, music pounding, and it always left him with a splitting headache. He much preferred bars and pubs where he could drink without worrying about a headache.
However, if pretty women like the one standing next to him at the bar were going to be common occurrence, he knew he could make an exception.
“Hey…m'names Phillip. And ye are?”

Gods. Now there was no denying it. They had never met in this life. No, they had met in the life where his brother had been Pollux. Not Phillip. This woman hasn’t been Aurora, this woman had been Helen.
His sister.
With a deep breath, he sat to make his call. And, of course, Phillip didn’t have the decency to answer his damn phone.
Aurora continued her sewing, only glancing up after a few minutes of silence. “No answer?” She guessed, giving him a small smile. The others weren’t expected back for at least a day or so, and Abigail could sleep the day away which meant she was alone for the most part.

He wanted to question her, but some of the questions he wanted to ask were insane. He knew her from somewhere, Castor was sure of it. He was positive that he knew her.
“No? Yer not from England, by any chance? I’m Liverpool born and raised,” grinned Castor as a way to break the silence as he crossed into the kitchen.
“No, I’m not from England. I’m actually from North Carolina, but I… found myself here a while back.” Aurora replied. She sat down on the couch and went back to sewing the holes in her old dresses.

Name: Arthur Jameson Birthday: September 1, 1963 Age: 53 Sign: Virgo Chinese Zodiac: Rabbit Positive Traits: Practical, Loyal, Kind, Hardworking, Wise Negative Traits: Shy, Overly Critical, Workaholic, Worrier, Introvert Bio: In the days of myths and legends, there was a man named Icarius who was very friendly towards the god Dionysus. Dionysus taught Icarius to make wine, which Icarius gave his shepards. The drunk shepards, thinking that they had been poisoned, killed Icarius in a drunken rage. Icarius daughter Erigone, a sweet and pure woman, found her father's body and hung herself as a result. Dionysus became furious and cursed all of the maidens in Athens to commit suicide by hanging. After that, Dionysus immortalized Erigone by causing her to become the constellation Virgo. Practicality, a trait that Erigone herself had once loved by, and loyalty, which Erigone showed to those she loved even in death, became traits that those born under the constellation of Virgo exhibited. Born in Bromley, Kent in England, Arthur Jameson was always more interested in work than he was in people. This hard work made him head of his class in his schooling and he even graduated at the top of his class in university. To the few friends he had, which included his wife Marta and his daughter Ellie, he was extremely loyal and would never turn on them. This loyalty captured the attention of the goddess Demeter, who took an interest on anyone who treated others with such kindness. It wasn't until Arthur lost his daughter Ellie to a drunk driver, which led to his divorce from Marta, and was on the verge of giving up on life that Demeter extended the offer for Arthur to represent her during the counsel of the twelve. Though at first he was hesitant, Arthur accepted. Doing so has allowed Arthur to turn his life back around and he has recently become a partner in running the insurance firm he works for.

It was really nagging at her, that she knew him somehow but she didn’t want to say it out loud for fear if looking rather insane.
“Any time, sir.” She shook her head at his question. “No… Not always.” Her original home had been far away from this place.

Name: Osei Asad Birthday: July 25, 1971 Age: 45 Sign: Leo Chinese Zodiac: Pig Positive Traits: Creative, Generous, Cheerful, Humorous, Passionate Negative Traits: Arrogant, Stubborn, Self-Centered, Inflexible, Lazy Bio: In the days of myths and legends, the hero Hercules was tasked by the King Eurystheus to complete twelve different labors. The first of these labors was to kill the Nemean Lion. The Nemean Lion had taken women as hostages in its lair in order to lure warriors as food. When the warriors arrived, they would find an injured maiden, which quickly turned into the lion so that it may devour them. The lion's golden fur was impenetrable, which proved to be a problem for many heroes. In order to kill the lion, Hercules had to stun the creature with his club and use his own hands to strangle it. The goddess Athena saw Hercules' plight and told the hero to skin the lion using it's own claws. Zeus took pity on the lion and placed it in the stars as the constellation Leo. Since the lion had been creative in taking the form of young women to momentarily subdue most heroes, creativity became the key trait to which was attributed to all those born under the constellation of Leo. Born in Cairo, Egypt, Osei Asad never saw himself as a leader. He much preferred the spotlight of being an actor and occasional poet. It was his poetry that attracted the attention of Apollo, who found a soft spot in his heart for all art forms. Though Osei knew he had the gods favor, he felt as if something in his life was missing. He began working as an advocate for the rights of his people. Not only did it lead Osei to becoming an ambassador for Egypt in the U.N, but it led to Apollo offering (and subsequently Osei accepting) the spot to be Apollo's representative during the meeting of the twelve.

Castor gave a small smile, nodding his thanks. He had to banish those thoughts from his head, the thoughts that he knew her. That he had met her before. She would never have those thoughts.
Normal men and women didn't.
"I appreciate it, Aurora. Have you always lived out here?"
“Yeah, like the dawn.” She flashed him a small friendly little smile as she shut the door. Something about this man made Aurora feel like she knew him, but she couldn’t figure out HOW.
“I have a landline you can use.” She nodded, pointing towards the kitchen. “It’s in there, hanging up on the wall.”

"Aurora. Like the dawn."
It was a very lame attempt at small talk, to which he was usually better. There was something about this woman that through him off of his game. He entered the house, eyes taking in his surroundings. There were four coats hanging from the rack by the door. Men's coats.
There were other people in this house.
"Um...do you have a phone by any chance? My cellphone lost its charge."
Aurora had always known she’d had a past life, she would have flashes of memories from a life so long ago. She didn’t know who she was or who the people from her memories, she only knee they were important.
“I…” Only for a moment did she hesitate —she’d been taught to be wary of strangers but this man didn’t feel like a stranger to her. “Sure. My name’s Aurora, by the way.”

There were times when Castor remembered things he had not seen, things he had no way of seeing. When he asked Hermes, the god had simply explained that it was a part of being chosen to represent one of the twelve signs, getting memories from the one who had been immortalized in the sky.
That's what he was going through right now. The young woman had opened the door and for a moment, it was as if they weren't in a home in the bayou. It was war, destruction, two young men helping heroes who would always get more recognition to recapture the face that launched a thousand ships. It was himself and Phillip...no...not Phillip. Pollux. His name was Pollux then. It was him and Pollux helping to save their sister, Helen.
"Um...hullo," he finally spoke after a moment, breaking himself from the trance he had gone into. "I'm...my name is Castor Rocco. I've...I've seemed to have gotten myself a little lost. May I come in?"
Aurora Rose was known as many things —a mother to a young girl who needed guidance, a listening ear for the men who needed someone to vent their frustrations to… She was also known as the captive Swamp Queen. She wasn’t truly allowed to leave the beautiful home tucked away in the bayou, for fear that she would never return. Aurora loved this family, but part of her longed for freedom.
The men were out and Abigail was napping when the knock came. Aurora set down her sewing and headed for the door.
“May I… Help you?” A sense of awareness hit her, a sense of KNOWING.
