The colors are great! The ballet shoes and mug headband are very cute picks to match the blue of the cape. The brown of your mask goes well with your yellows too! That said, the gray of the dress doesn't match well. Very dull color compared to everything else.

Shape: 2/2

I like how the braid trails down the cape. The outfit poking out from under the cape is close to making it wonky but being a chibi makes it look intentionally small.

Theme: 2/2

It's giving me cutesy little stuffed animal tea party haver vibes.

I love the usage of the different cosmetics, especially the Cinnamonroll hat paired with the Sanctuary hair.

I 100%ed Remembrance thankfully. It's still one of my favorite seasons so I'm glad it's around again!

As for Angler and Boatswain, I'm grateful I actually stopped playing just after I got his cape. It's a personal favorite of mine. Angler is who I'm primarily going for. I'm defo gonna get the cape and I'm HOPING I can get the mask. I'm starting from literally 0 candles tho seeing as I got tapped out from yesterday's (well technically 2 days ago but I haven't slept yet) traveling spirit.

105 candles before September is definitely doable but I'm worried about burning out. :,)

Hello! Do you have any advice for styling the Season of Dreams bird-like cape? It’s one of my favorites but I have so much trouble finding things other than it’s companion pieces to match it.

I'm guessing that you mean the guide's cape. I'd personally try on outfits to match with it but, alas, I don't own it. I'll try my best to match it with various cosmetics I think could pair with it but you'd have to try them on yourself to see.

I also cannot see dyed variants of outfits so you might want to try dyeing your cosmetics.

Always a classic, yellow and white. Never fails. I really like how the blue on the mask slightly ties into the blue on the outfit, albeit a very scarce color on the fit.

Shape: 2/2

Honestly, your OC has the best usage of shape I've ever seen. The capes collar ties wonderfully into the masks extra piece, the hair ties into the horns beautifully, the cape goes with the Prince's outfit to really give the "hero with cape" feel. This is perfection.

Theme: 2/2

Very clear "warrior of light" vibes. You have main character energy and I mean that in the best way.

Creativity: 2/2

I don't see the mask and cape combo... well ever. You found a great combination! Again, I love your pairing of the hair with the horns on the mask, it's such a good choice on your end.

Orange and blue make a wonderful combination. I've always adored mixing opposite colors. By having a warm and cool color for the primary outfit you make the deer mask blend in wonderfully... that is almost. Your outfit feels ever so slightly imbalanced because of how bright your mask and hair are compared to the rest of it. It took me awhile to pinpoint the fact it was. I actually have been neglecting this ask in favor of others because something just felt a little off. Still, I like the colors!

I love the theme you have! It's very creative. Unfortunately, the half point is missing because I can't pinpoint the theme exactly. The bottom half is giving me the vibes of a workshop or painter. The mask and hair, however, feels too delicate to fit exactly. Your sky kid is a creative visionary thematically, that's for sure, it just feels like it's being pulled in two different directions.

I know I've criticized the mask twice now but I do genuinely like it! I think pairing the mask with the outfit you did was a bold choice and, again, almost perfect. No sky kid has the outfit you do and that's the kind of shit I like to see.

A second Sky OC has hit the me

I don't technically own the boots yet but mark my words when Days of Mischief comes back I'm gunning for them instantly. Them being barefoot for the time being though doesn't seem that out of character :P.

Unlike the sky kids we know and love, Aether (they/them) didn't land at the realm portals or Aviary Village. Upon being first born they were smacked off course via a well timed Eden eruption. They landed well beyond the world we can explore, leading most to assume the newborn child would never be seen again. It wasn't until years later they were seen again, fished up by Anxious Angler in The Treasure Reef. When they woke up they found they remembered very little at all, not even their name. Aether has been a placeholder name they came up with.

Aether behaves very strangely compared to most. They eat darkness plants, mutter to themselves constantly in an unknown language, drink dark water exclusively, talk to non existent people, and sunbathe in the golden wasteland. They claim they are royalty from a very distant kingdom (they cannot recall its name) and their ship was destroyed by a "big spikey dark shark", leading them back here. There are many debates on if that story is true or if it's the dark plants/dark water that has messed with their head. They do, however, seem to hold themselves how a royal would, standing straight and talking very properly.

That tail and horns, by the way? Real. It's believed they have a tiny shard of Eden still lodged in them somewhere, making their biology alter itself to be attuned to both their natural light and minor bits of darkness.

They can be found either around the Vault of Knowledge, hoping the archives contain something that will jog their memories, or around The Treasure Reef, enjoying (and drinking, much to all the Abyss spirits dismay) the sea.

Old Sky OC. Reblogging for... no reason.

Noticed everyone seemed to have a Sky OC so I figured it was time for me to get one.

I am calling them Alvar rn. Any pronouns but primarily like they/them. When they were a moth they lost all their light in the graveyard and were helped by a veteran player. Losing all of their light left a permanent effect. They can make very quiet calls but can't deep call. To get a skykids attention, they use their staff to shoot off fireworks.

Since they lost their light, they patrol the Wasteland graveyard in search of moths either trapped, without light, or simply too scared to move from safe spots. Essentially, they act as a guide through the most dangerous parts. When not patrolling there, they will purposefully piss off krills by hopping on their backs. They also enjoy participating in dangerous shattering quests but not for the assented candles. They just like fucking around with the dangerous crabs, seeing how much they can play with the crab before being knocked down. Essentially, they are just a chaotic softie with no concept of danger.

Also they cried when they saw the manta get destroyed by the krill in the area before graveyard. Like hard core full on sobbing.

I've very rarely seen an outfit incorporate any of the default pants. The red and white really seem to go with it though! The shoes also look like they naturally come with the pants with how perfect the colors align.

Shape: 2/2

It's a very simple outfit with no shape flaws. I think the bandana scarf adds just a bit more of a shape on the face to make it a little interesting.

Theme: 1/2

It's not a bad outfit, it's far from one in fact, but it just feels uninspired to me. It feels like you just slapped something together, which to be fair you did, but that means you don't have much of a theme. The closest to a theme for your outfit I can feel is "mothsona is red".

Creativity: 2/2

I really enjoy how you spiced up base game cosmetics into something cohesive and different. It proves you really don't need a lot to make a good outfit!

Personal Preference: 1/2

This was tough to decide on, giving you a 1 or 2 in this category. I think after some careful contemplation, however, I want to take away the point because this isn't the best you can do. You've given me your default outfit, you state yourself this is how your Sky kid looks when you AREN'T dressing up. I know there is greater potential than the outfit you've given me. Perhaps that is why the outfit feels uninspired to me.

Overall Score: 8/10

Notes: I do think it is a creative use of your outfit pieces even if it's a little uninspired as a whole. I think new players can really take notes!

Love the color scheme! I'm always a fan of the white mixed with warm tones. Usually the blue of the mask wouldn't quite fit but I think it's small enough + the white has enough cool tones that it works!

The hermits outfit always has an absolutely wonderful shape. I think using the cape to let the outfit shine was a nice move on your part. Not to mention, the hair style is always a classic with the hermits outfit.

Theme: 2/2

You're not a forest goddess. You're a valley goddess. You look like you'd be a visage in the blinding white snow, gone when you blink. How's that for proving you wrong? XD

Seriously though, your outfit conveys a beautiful, snowy stag goddess of sorts. It's a great theme!

Now normally I remove points when people overuse one seasons cosmetics. You haven't. This point deduction is because I've seen SO many Sky kids with similar outfits. I've seen many sky kids with the hermits outfit sporting the mischief hair. The mischief hair is, of course, often paired with the mischief antlers. It is not an unoriginal outfit, I think the cape and mask really show more originality, but I'd say as a whole the outfit is a little generic. Hey, if it ain't broke don't fix it though.

I'm always a fan of outfits like this. However, I think the magic has worn off for me a bit considering it is pretty generic. It is not a bad outfit by ANY means. It's a beautiful outfit. I'm just not sure the cape does it for me which is half of the originality.
