Throughout chainsaw man we learn that what keeps Denji grounded is being around loved ones. He's at his most rational when he's surrounded by those he loves. When he loses that foundation and becomes alone, he becomes far less stable and rational.

my take on this is that Denji isnt blinded by his libido but infact hes so insecure by the loss of all his love ones, hes okay with dying and appreciative of having the possibility of a better outcome. hes glad someone still likes him to the point hes brought to tears, he knows this is bullshit but he doesnt care, he knows hes going to die and he figures he might as well have fun before he goes

Denji and Power are siblings!!!

Ive been seeing alot of people who say that, if Denji were given the opportunity, he WOULD screw Power. I dont know if these are just fans of the anime exclusively saying this, but it drives me insane because its absolutely not true.

Denji isn't mindless!! When he thinks about everyone he'd consider banging (after meeting Reze) he immediately counts Power out, he thinks shes annoying and disgusting. He does think she is attractive but beyond that he just physically cannot see Power in a sexual light. I just cant stand seeing this idea that Denji would if he could. He could but he doesnt want to because Power is like a sister to him!!

Small fiend analysis!

So i absolutely love the fiends who appear in chainsaw man, and I have a little theory that's probably canon but I just wanna talk about it!

I believe the fiend's know about the chainsaw devil and understand that Makima is the control devil, and I say this because of how they act. Specifically Power and Beam, who one could argue are the closest fiend's in Denji's life.

I don't see too many people point out how clearly frightened Power is of Makima. Power is always seen nervous and sweating around Makima, almost never arguing with or even looking at Makima. Power may not understand entirely what's going on but she clearly knows that Makima is not one to be messed with. She views Makima as an unbeatable enemy.

On the other hand, we have Beam. He is eager and excited to work with Denji as he worships the Chainsaw Devil, quite literally calling him "Lord". I think Beam is the most aware of Makima's goals and Denji's unknown secret, and when Aki asks him about this, he says he cannot tell because Makima will kill him.

I think what's important about these two and them knowing this is that they are entirely loyal to Denji, regardless of how much they really know. Niether of them are loyal to Makima and only follow her orders out of fear.
