The Deaf and The Blind

[Ana`am 6:39] And those who deny Our signs are deaf and dumb in realms of darkness; Allah may send astray whomever He wills; and may place on the Straight Path whomever He wills.

[Baqarah 2:6-7] As for those whose fate is disbelief, whether you warn them or do not warn them - it is all one for them; they will not believe. Allah has sealed their hearts and their ears, and on their eyes is a covering; and for them is a terrible punishment.

[Maidah 5:71] And they assumed that there will be no punishment, so they turned blind and deaf - then Allah accepted their penance, then again many of them turned blind and deaf; and Allah is seeing their deeds.

Brothers and sisters, open your mind, read & understand the meaning of the Quran. Then judge for yourself. May Allah bless us and guide us ALL to the righteous path.

The Man I've known.

I know a man who lost his parents but refused to be called an orphan. He was man enough to love a strong woman years older than him, worked for her and made her stronger, opened his heart to her, shared his fears to no one but her. He was romantic and was faithful to her till her last breath. Cleaned after himself and sewed his own clothes. He was good looking, courageous and fearless. He never judged anyone on their pasts or looks, and was moderate, open minded and tolerant. His neighbor was Jewish and his cousin-in- law was a Christian priest. Beaten and exiled when he was helpless, he was merciful when he became stronger. Intelligent, wise and a hard worker, he built a long lasting nation out of nothing in the last 20 years of his life. He had no parents, but loved his daughters and grandchildren. His last will was “Be good to women.” This man was a mercy for all mankind,this is my Prophet Muhammad, Peace be Upon Him

The Yellow-belly Bird

As I sat down wandering, I saw a little bird from the picture window beside. It had a yellow belly, the self feature which made it pretty to see. Yellow-belly birdy chirped around the bushes, flying high n low. Beautiful as it is, showing off its pretty feathers. I just sat there in awe, admiring its adorable charm. Though, I don’t know why, while gazing the yellow belly bird, I had a thought. I actually felt like snow white for a moment. But without the singing of course. Haha.
