We haven’t gotten enough submissions to start producing this blog at its full capacity. 

We can’t do that without you!! 

Fans of Steven Universe who want to take a whack at voice acting and singing can try their stuff and audition, for literally any canon character!

You can send in multiple auditions, for different characters, but be aware if we cast you, we will only cast you as one character.

Hopefully with the most recent Steven Bomb this blog can get some love and some more activity. Even with the Holidays coming up!

Hi there! I am interested in doing this but I would probably want to sing maybe do it for her or a song like that but I am a guy.... I love its over isn’t it and do it for her so would it be possible to audition for her or maybe just sing one of her songs for the audition but decide on my character later??

We would prefer you audition for a specific character! 

As for your song choice, you can sing whatever you like! Just as long as you follow our guidelines when it comes to audio and such.

You can audition to play a character, but if you don't get a part/your voice doesn't suit anybody, can you audition to help with another area of production like songwriting or drawing cover art?

Absolutely! Although we hadn’t talked about doing cover art or even song writing, that would be extremely useful!! 

We shall be editing the audition form to accompany this particular interest! If you have any questions concerning this particular interest, or any questions that haven’t been answered in our blog, please do ask us!

ABSOLUTELY! 

We have not received enough to cast any character for this blog, which is a little sad since we have over 200 followers and less than 20 submissions!! 

But we have hope that we will very soon be able to cast someone and begin the real fun of this blog!!

Hey I was going to submit my audition today, but I can't seem to find a monologue that runs 45 seconds for Steven. Can I submit two different monologues that come together to be about 45 seconds?

That’s fine! If you can’t find a monologue, if you get different pieces of like dialogue together and make it work, or two different monologues. Whatever works for you to fit our guidelines! We appreciate your patience in us getting back to you, and look forward to your audition!

is it mandatory to sing official SU songs? what if I want to sing another song?

You can sing whatever song you want, as long as you can sing in character and with an instrumental in the background. Unless the song calls for something else.

is the actor/actress supposed to sing in character, or is it only the voice that matters? for example, someone who sings with vibrato voices a character who doesn't?

Sing in character please. We aren’t bringing you on to sing in your voice and be a character. We want you to sing and talk in character.

Can I upload my video audio on instagram and make my profile public so you can access it?

Sure! Just make sure the link works when you put it in your audition form!
