    █ ▌“everyone here please!” the girl raised her voice, eyes scanning around the large, field like area that was filled with kids. the kids from her club, the one she needed to host alone. the fact that they were five years old didn’t make it any better either, knowing how hyper they got especially when being outside.  “oh yeah, go ahead and laugh at me”, sumin continued, now talking to the friend of hers who just happened to stop by on accident.  “but somehow, in a really odd way, they make me feel at peace. even though they’re fucking annoying sometimes.” and so she whispered, making sure none of the kids would hear her bad language. 

“You actually enjoy your time like this?” Rin asked after taking another taste of her strong Americano, watching the sever or eight kids running around, Sumin chasing them to make them stay in one place. “And are you sure you wanna take them out to the park?” She adds. Rin wasn’t very fond of kids, she was, as a matter of fact, enjoying having one a a time, maybe two, but anything above those numbers started to annoy her.

bumping shoulders is not an uncommon occurrence in the busy streets of seoul. but this time is rougher than usual. something, no, many things tumble to the ground–of all the people he could have bumped into, it had to be the person carrying an armful. “fuck.” they swear in unison, though she speaks aloud and he in his head. he mutters a quick ‘sorry’ before letting his feet navigate their way past the mess. 

he’s one step away from the scene when he stops himself. “shit, i did it again.” running away from people. being rude to avoid social interaction. he turns back, but reluctantly so–old habits die hard. his footsteps, once quick, slow to a half of the pace as he makes his way back to the scene. he crouches down, almost unwillingly, to help clean up the mess he helped make. “sorry about that.” he apologizes once more, this time with an added hint of sincerity.

    █ ▌“no it’s fine, i get it”, sumin started off with a forced smile, trying to wipe off some of the tea that was now decorating her white t-shirt. great. no matter how badly she wanted to say something completely different, for once she managed to keep her big mouth shut. it was rare, but hey, she wasn’t there to make his day a million times worse. “a busy guy who probably doesn’t give a fuck about strangers, trust me, i’m the same.” she gave him a quick nod, her other hand moving away the locks of hair that had fallen on her face. “though that does not mean that i’m not pissed at you, i just got this shirt last night.”
