Note
The nerds over on NHK's Sumo Primetime dropped the hot take that we'd have 3! Yokozuna this year, Kotozakura, Onosato, and Hoshoryu.
I'm guessing Onosato's gonna have a sophomore slump for a least a bit as other rikishi figure out his lack of technique, but Kotozakura seems like a sure bet. What do you think?
Kotozakura is probably going to do it, he's young too so he shouldn't have issues physically. Onosato is a monster and looks calm, I wouldn't bet against him either. Hoshoryu is great but sometimes he has some rough patches, I can't say if he'll get over that but he is formidable. He could be a regular ozeki if he can't quite get the wins with a few really consistent rikishi in there along with some who are strong at random times taking wins away.

I hate Takaken$ho, it's always funny when he loses.

I took all of these pictures from my seat, which is the one right over the lower hallway, opposite where you see the rikishi come from in the pics.
