🥰 H E L L O 🤩 I’m here! Finally back on IG after taking a bit of a breather. It was something that I really needed to do for myself, both spiritually and emotionally, to start the year off right and I’m so glad I did it. Going off the grid from social media for a week has actually made me learn to appreciate the little things in my life a lot more, and it also made me become a better observer of the people and places around me. Rather than burying my head in my phone at dinner time or feeling like I needed to document interesting things I saw, I felt free from it all. Free to observe, enjoy and take every moment in with gratitude and with an awakened presence. Without a doubt, I’ll continue to use social media as a way of documenting experiences, but I’ll do it in a healthier, more balanced way. Thank you for all your new year wishes! The best part of a meal is the company you get to share it with, and I’m so glad I took my brother @ronicfung to his very first tasting at @whiskhk inside the @themirahotel! It was one of the most extravagant and creative omakase dinners I’ve been to, prepared by the talented Chef Oliver Li. The theme of the evening was “Mystery 12”, where Chef Li prepared twelve small plates of fresh Japanese ingredients, premium seafood dominating the selection. From sea urchin and caviar to Yame green tea and Miyazaki Wagyu beef, the 12 course dinner was nothing short of amazing. 🕌 🌅Surprise trip to Abu Dhabi! Absolutely enthralled by the magnificent Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in all its glory!
