au where the scp foundation exist in the same world as sunless and the crew team up to try and topple them! (i highly doubt they could because one of their scientists is probably satan but whatever.)

given that the sunless crew is comprised of vampires, werewolves, demigod-esque beings, fae, a Literal Demon, a birb-human hybrid creature, a panda, and several magic users, i think it’s far more likely that they’d be under scp supervision / containment honestly. like. the scp don’t seem all that keen on non-humans running around all over the place. at the very least, kirin chowing down on innocent testificates would certainly be cause for incarceration, if they didn’t just lock the whole lot up for being generally weird and unnatural and Scientifically Interesting.

of course, that doesn’t mean they can’t team up and try to topple the scp from the inside… though, honestly, given the chances of lying cooperating with anything not human or werewolf, and the chances of kirin cooperating with anything, they probably wouldn’t get very far.

(i actually think, out of the whole server, bea is probably the only one that’s in any way non-objectionable. i would say [redacted], too, but… given he’s called [redacted], it seems Highly likely he’s been involved with the foundation previously. given the foundation don’t exactly seem to just let people go… well. he’s probably on some kind of list of theirs.)

(please consider: bea is the only one who doesn’t get locked up, and ends up teaming up with / hiring [redacted] to break them all out - only to find they’ve all staged a half-breakout but are busy standing somewhere as kirin and lying yell at one another. luce and llanelly and capella are just standing there watching them bicker with crossed arms like, “any time you want to stop squabbling and start running, that’d be Great.”)

In a skype call w/ friends, talking about the sunless server and the FB finally and we came across this post. We kinda had fun tossing around the idea.

Drew a thing for it because why not.

Rayse and bruises? (this is soft compared to most stuff you write but im a soft person and i dont like seeing rayse hurt lmao)

Feathers, Rayse thought sometimes, were too good at hiding bruises. Between the fine, soft down close to their skin, and the large, sleek pinions that covered everything else, there was no way to see the mottled purple rising and the yellow-green fading across their arms and ribs.

There was nothing sinister about the marks, just a side-effect of being a mercenary with a punishing training schedule in a land filled with monsters of all kinds. Both they and the rest of the band trained with wooden swords, dulled edges that wouldn’t cut, but it hardly softened the blow if someone misjudged their strength.

Sighing quietly, Rayse pressed a hand against their forearm, feeling the dull ache of the bruising beneath the feathers at the pressure. Everyone else ended up with bruises, too - other than maybe Czol, their strange blue-black scales seem to protect them, given even the most enthusiastic of Foli’s blows hardly made them flinch - and they would all sit around the fire tonight, or perhaps during bathing, complaining and comparing wounds.
