A smile spread across the younger brother's face. He had taken a risk in asking Ryoma to play a game or two with him. And that risk, it seems, is going to play out in his favor. "We can play right here, brother. In the shade of the trees." There is a sitting area, used mainly by those who are training to get a quick rest.

“Ah, that would be perfect.” Ryoma set aside his training sword and followed Takumi over to the sitting area. It had been some time since he had played, and he was likely very rusty, but he also appreciated the chance to play with his younger brother. “So, would you like to take the first turn?” He sat down, giving his brother a warm look.

The cherry blossoms didnt go unnoticed. Maybe this was the first time she had seen them or perhaps this was the only time she had a chance to pay attention to them. Her thoughts were interrupted as the king spoke once again.

“Yes, i would be very thankful for that.” Camilla responded before she saw him offering his arm. Not trying to be rude she linked hers gently with his. Patiently she waited for him to start walking. During their walk she looked more closer at the trees. Then a question came to her mind. As she moved her head to face the Hoshidan king, her hair followed her, bouncing.

“King Ryoma, excuse me if this may be a silly question but.. Since i am in your kingdom right now. Is it more appropriate to wear the clothes of a hoshidan princess or should i wear the nohrian clothes?”  Clearly the princess had no intention to insult anyone here, no matter how long she may stay. For a moment she even wondered how the Hoshidan queen would be dressed. “I hope i will be a suitable Queen if you decide to choose me”

The princess was trying to form a conversation even if it started weird.

Ryoma began to lead her carefully through the castle, slowly enough for her to appreciate the surroundings. It felt strange, having  a stranger who would soon be his wife on his arm. But he knew he would have to get used to the feeling quickly.

“Oh,” her question surprised him. Nevertheless, he had made all kinds of preparations, and this was one of them. He cleared his throat. “If you would like, I could have my retainers bring you Hoshidan clothing to wear. But you may stay as you are if it is more comfortable.” He was well aware of how... unusual her clothing was by Hoshidan standards, but his priority was making her comfortable. “And I hope to live up to your expectations as husband.” He cleared his throat again, masking his slight nervousness.

Soon, he stopped in front of a room. “Here is where you will be staying,” he explained. “I will wait outside, if you’d like to look.”

"Brother!" The call came as Takumi rounded a corner, coming to a stop when he almost walks into the elder royal. Even without the red armor, walking into Ryoma would have hurt quite a bit. "Sorry.."

“Is something wrong, brother?” He looked him over, making sure he wasn’t hurt. He did come awfully close to bumping into him. “You sounded like you need something.” It wasn’t every day that Takumi came urgently running to him.

Takumi walks up to his elder brother, a shogi set tucked neatly under his arm. "Brother? It has been a while since we last played." The statement is made in a casual tone, though nothing is casual about him pointing it out. After having been beaten once again during sparing, the younger royal wishes to defeat Ryoma in the only way he knows how, at his best game.

“Ah, perfect timing, Takumi. I could certainly use a break.” Ryoma straightened up, putting his practice sword down. “Ah, it really has been a while. Really brings back memories.” He chuckled softly. “Come on, then, let us go find somewhere more comfortable.”

“Corrin, is it possible that you plan on asking me about this cat?” He couldn’t miss the creature’s tiny meowing. He knew he was supposed to be the voice of reason, and he did his best to make a stern face, but... How could he say no to those eyes?
