I think some of the funniest stuff in Arknights is when they try to justify the outfit change for an Alter unit. I haven't seen all of them, of course, but my favorites include:

Silence - "I was undergoing a clandestine covert mission for the boss of the *R&D DEPARTMENT* when another of my bosses found me and gave me a free makeover."

Skadi - "Some old guy who I helped out once gave me these clothes as a disguise from the Spanish Inquisition so I'd stand out less. No, I did not ask why he had a sultry outfit in my size just lying around."

Lava - "This is literally my cool self-insert OC's design for the movie my girlfriend wrote for me to star in. Do not steal." *bumps into a wall because of her stupid blindfold*

Because supporters and specialists both are just the bargain bin of archetypes where they shove all the weird ones that don't make sense elsewhere. Which one of the two bins they go into is basically random.

So why are Alchemists Specialists instead of supporters?

Mhm, but that goes back to my point of "limited banner running right as you start".

You could easily spend just as much time resetting for those first 10 pull Marcille as you could playing the game to get more pulls (and presumably you're still going to play the game once you get Marcille anyway).

But yeah I guess if you got started towards the tail end of a banner or something I could see it.

I guess my biggest thing is just that it sounds like a miserable way to start a game lol, spending the first big chunk of time with it resetting and repeating dull tutorials until they let you pull. But I guess other people might have more tolerance for that than I do.
