shibusawa is the kinda guy who gets into way too many hobbies-- the only ones that have stuck around are his music making (still being in a band and being a vocaloid producer on the side.) and surfing (bc of his home town being surrounded by beaches.)

It was no different from his own office setting. Being surrounded by Gen-Z coworkers was absolutely wild... Hearing the slang they throw around-- And the editor desperately trying to learn what it meant.

Maruki sputtered hearing that. He had been moments away from taking a drink from a bottle of water, and found himself grateful for the split second of hesitation he had felt; if he had been drinking, he was certain he would actually be choking.

"Shibusawa--" How, how could he even begin to try to explain this to his friend?

"I-- High school students are... particularly..." Cruel? Horrible? Terrible? "... Creative when it comes to their manner of speech."

That was an absolutely terrible cover story, but it was the one that Maruki would settle on for now. How else could he explain that in another reality, a group of teenagers had seen him wearing an incredibly embarrassing wardrobe that was complete with a metal thong on the outside of his pants?

"Oh I'm well aware, but to think their comments were directed more towards me and not the snacks I always gave them..." He did appear rather saddened by the the thought. "Did they...did they not enjoy my snacks? I always thought everyone loved animal crackers..."
