Stevie Nicks deadass calling her former bandmates (Fleetwood Mac) “lazy bums“ in an official speech (Pollstar Awards 2025) is a bit rich.

Especially as she initially was only allowed in the band bc Lindsey was sticking up for her. They weren’t looking for another female singer - they were looking for a guitarist.

ALSO repeatedly suggesting she wouldn’t have necessarily needed FMac to become famous as she was super duper successful with Lindsey even before they joined … (which is an outright overstatement)

Does she listen to herself talk? And still everyone keeps calling her a legend and throwing her roses.

No but OK I just have a lot of thoughts about how Tommy Cash's declaration "Coffee for everybody!" is actually deeply meaningful

because it connects to Andy Warhol making art out of Campbell's soup because it was something he had every day, and how Tommy talking about how coffee unites us is similar to Andy Warhol's quote "You can know that the President drinks Coke, Liz Taylor drinks Coke, and just think, you can drink Coke, too" and that the Andy Warhol comparisons are 100% intentional because he modeled the original 'Espresso Macchiato' video on the video of Andy Warhol eating a burger in Jorgen Leth's "66 Scenes from America" in 1982

what I'm saying is that 'Espresso Macchiato' is actually deeply intentional performance art and I love my dirtbag son Tommy Cash
