Not sure why I'm not anymore depressed but tomorrow will likely alte the rest of my life and my overall choices. I will be meeting my care team and find out what stage cancer I have and the treatment plan.

So many things are running through my mind. For a few days, I thought I was having a bad dream but in reality this is life. This is real life and now I need to deal with it.

How lucky I am to have the best partner, family and friends ever.

Day 4

Every day since finding out I've cried at some point during the day. I think the most annoying thing of all this is not knowing my life plan. Am I going to live? Do I ever get to travel again? Will I forever be changed? Will I become weak.

No, I'm almost certain I will make it out alive and I think my will power is pretty fucking strong.

Cancer discriminates no one.

At the ripe age of 42, I have found I have breast cancer. I feel all sorts of emotions, but most of all I wonder if I am going to make it through this process. Can I still work? Will I become a burden to the love of my life? Will I live to see my future neices and nephews.

In 3 days I find out my stage and the treatment plan and I can't help but wonder if I have what it takes to make it through this.
