We have the delicious Malcolm, very dangerous tough as nails, doesn't give a flying f&&k about anyone but family, He fronts a world wide bank that launders money for very bad and very rich people. With an underground torture chamber. Delicious I LOVE ORGANIZED CRIME ROMANCE. On a visit to an upscale pleasure house he meets his TWIRL aka London ( did not like her name ) we are then taken on a breathtaking ride was this book. I loved it so much. From the very first page until the last. It was incredibly written action packed with a side order of kink others claim it's dark sorry I disagree yes there are torture scenes but not overly done. We have Insta love from Malcolm's side, he is most definitely an Alpha no ifs and's or buts about it and he takes no prisoners, he becomes enamored with his TWIRL to the point of obsession. So protective and possessive of her. I love that in a book and Malcolm ticked all my fantasy boxes and then some. He is a killer and he will kill anyone for the people he loves but his love takes on a whole new meaning when it comes to her. Their story did move fast but what I loved about it more was he took his time in romancing her he was going for the main prize HER so he took his time knowing she was innocent and I truly loved that so many writers rush that part that it is unbelievable to the point it is ridiculous. This was beautifully done, because for all that was happening in their lives the slow build of their love was precious. London was an incredibly written role from this awful downtrodden girl into the kitten with claws was brilliantly done and she didn't lose what essentially she was, a sweet young woman. She lost her mother and was left alone with her dad and brother who were making her life miserable, uncomfortable, especially the brother, at times I wanted to crawl in and hit him my self. I hated them both, through in corrupt FBI agents, a cast of characters and traitors and we have a heck of a read. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK If I could have starred it more I would have, I already have book 2 I got it today. Looking forward to Casper's story very much.

When things like that happen, I’m like, ‘Wow, maybe this actually has a bit more clout than I thought it did, and maybe this isn’t as vacuous as I thought it was.’ That is wonderful. When them things happen, when songs connect in that way, it’s like actually, fucking hell, as corny as it sounds, the power of music is fucking incredible. And that is something that I am buzzing about, and that’s what I’ve learned from this so far: there is a lot of good that can come from this. First the bad, When will authors stop using the worst word in the entire English language to describe a female body part, it is disgusting and not needed, and most definitely not in a alien romance, I am sure that if there is life out there somewhere they have a much better vocabulary than we do. I think the word C. U. N. T. is highly offensive and should be BANNED from all books unless you are writing PORNOGRAPHY. As of 2020 if you use this word in your books I will be down grading your works. I am sure as writers you can come up with a better word, In England (UK) as a child you would be punished for even whispering this word, as an adult you are severely frowned upon. I am not a prude and do not normally complain about the language used but this word is VILE and in this day and age you would think it would be banned.The story it self started out actually very well and I was quite excited for it, I do love a good Cyborg romance, but this quickly lost it's sparkle, it was far too sweet, any sweeter we would have been able to spoon it, The tale concentrates on Jo who has gone to Mars to start over, get a plot of land and grow from it, the condition been she has to stick it out for 5 years, initially she arrives with someone else, who is a dud, but along comes C-487 his real name is CLINT !! really the writer couldn't think of a better manly name for a cyborg than Clint. It was a quick enjoyable read, but not one I will remember nor will want to follow the series. It had the potential to be so much more but fizzled out. Apologies for such a downer review but getting a bit fed up with seeing 5 star reviews on books that do not deserve it. Its wasting my money
