• He’s always smiling for the cameras and signing autographs, but when he goes home, he collapses on the couch and questions if he’s actually making a difference.

• That dramatic swoop of hair isn’t natural, it takes him at least 20 minutes and a special industrial-strength gel to get it perfect before patrol.

• He secretly keeps every fan letter he’s ever received in boxes under his bed. Sometimes, when he’s doubting himself, he rereads them for motivation.

• He’s flashy and heroic in the spotlight but terrible at undercover missions. He once tried to sneak around in a hoodie, but people recognized him instantly by his chin.

• Despite his big persona, he always makes time for children, whether it’s signing drawings they made of him or crouching down to talk to them seriously about being safe.

• He’s not afraid of villains or monsters, but deep down he’s terrified of being forgotten once he’s no longer “shiny” and new.

• His cape has gotten stuck in subway doors, revolving doors, and even escalators more than once. He pretends it’s part of the act.

• Calls everyone “ma’am” or “sir,” tips his head politely, and opens doors for people, even when he’s supposed to be rushing into battle.

• When he rescues someone, he does dramatic things like dipping them in a ballroom pose mid-air, or carrying them bridal-style even when unnecessary.

• A villain once caught onto his habits and used a group of disguised henchwomen as bait, he fell for it instantly.

• Some men lowkey resent him because their girlfriends won’t stop talking about how dreamy he looked on the news.

• He thinks every rescue could be the beginning of a love story. Sometimes he even tries to slip in a suave “call me” while setting the woman down.

• If he does actually date someone, he gets comically jealous when they swoon over other heroes, even if it’s just on TV.

• He’s amazing at sweeping gestures (flowers, rooftop dinners, handwritten poems)… but terrible at day-to-day relationship basics like texting back on time.

• Despite all the women he saves and the constant attention, he wonders if anyone will love him for him, not the mask and perfect hair.

• He feels most alive when someone clings to him after being “saved.” He craves that look of admiration, it fuels both his hero ego and his heart.

Superheroes are legal again, following the incredible work of Elastigirl. For a year, things have seemed to return to normal as the Incredibles train their powers, ready to fight crime as a family.
