In Bloom - Jaehyun Soulmate AU
word count: 1.9k
warnings: none :)
jaehyun x reader x soulmate au
summary: a flower would start to bloom as you and your soulmate fall in love. your friend inconveniently didn’t even notice; and that is why soulmates stress you out.
It seemed nothing more then a coin that hung loosely around your neck. Laying limp against your chest, you tucked it under your shirt out of sight. You found it crazy that something so simple was to help indicate you to your soulmate.
The pendant was given to you the second you were born, just like it was for everyone else. Over time you’d grown enough for the chain to fit well enough for it to feel comfortable. You know the whole ritual by heart now: upon meeting your soulmate the coin would turn green, and as the two of you fall in love, a bud would grow until it became the flower destined to be.
Roses were the most common flower, hence why they were such iconic symbols of love. But you knew of people without roses, such as your neighbours who found themselves with lavender, and since had planted their necklaces together, along with more lavender seeds, adorning their house with a purple sea. You passed it every day, and it bore a reminder for what you had yet to find.
When the call from Marina that her coin had turned green, you held in a sigh of sadness and headed straight over to her house, as she’d requested.
“I don’t know when it went green! I didn’t even notice!” Marina cried, before you’d even taken your shoes off.
“Let’s not get too stressed yet, we’ll just trace back your steps between now and the last time you knew it hadn’t changed,” you attempted to reason.
“I know it was still bronze when I went out to grab some books, but since then I hadn’t noticed. It wasn’t until I changed out my dance kit that I did!”
“Don’t freak, we got this. We’ll start looking at the library, we’ll get the word out online, we’re bound to find them,” you tried to calm her down.
“What if we don’t? I can’t believe I’ve balled this all up already” Marina sniffed, for tears to start falling rapidly from her eyes.
“Hey, hey, hey. It’s ok; this is meant to be, you’ll find each other,” you pulled her into a tight hug, rubbing her bag in reassurance.
“We can’t waste any time,” she whipped the tears of her cheeks hastily, “we’ll take the car, so we don’t loose as much time. Come on, we got to go!” she sniffed a little still but grabbed your arm and dragged you back outside.
Good thing you never took your shoes off you thought. Paranoia hit you, as you puled your necklace out from under your shirt to sit on top of it, as fear in not noticing it turn green hit you. You didn’t want to end up in the same situation as Marina.
Once the two of you pulled up in the library, you both raced through the front doors and prowled the place looking for anyone and everyone who could’ve triggered Marina’s necklace.
“There’s no one here! It’s literally deserted!” Marina called at you from the other end of the library, for her to get shushed by the librarian. Marina randomly grabbed a book off the shelf and ripped a page out. Your eyes went wide, as the librarian gasped. She scribbled something down harshly on the torn page and ran over to the librarian.
“I think I’m going to have to ask you to leave,” the librarian glared at Marina.
“If someone comes looking for their soulmate, can you give them this? We may have bumped into each other here but not noticed,” Marina attempted to place the paper into the librarian’s hand.
“We’re not some kind of matchmaking service,” the librarian scoffed, ripping the paper into shreds onto the desk. “Now may you please leave.”
“Why so salty?” Marina muttered as she shuffled out the building, you in tow.
“I don’t think they’re going to want us back anytime soon,” you muttered, as you made your way to Marina’s dance studio.
“Doubt I’d bump into my soulmate at a library anyway. The dance studio would make more sense, I’d assume we’d have more in common,” Marina shrugged, kicking a stone in her path.
“If this whole soulmate-malarkey is destiny, you’re going to bump into them again, no matter what,” you smiled weakly, as the two of you swung open the front doors of the studio, and Marina and you strolled down the corridor looking into each room for someone with a recently turned green necklace.
One room was full of guys, and when you say full you mean full. Each one was perfectly in-sync with the other, moving to some song you didn’t recognise.
“Aye Mari, this one’s full of people. There’s like twenty or something,” you pulled Marina’s attention to you and the door in front of you, which had a window in letting you see the contents of the studio.
“I bumped into some of them earlier, I dropped my doughnut and everything,” Marina gasped, pulling the door handle down and hurling it open before she even thought about what she was doing.
“Wait, hang on a second,” you tried to stop her accidently storming in mid-dance.
Each and everyone of the guys stopped when the sound of the door hitting the wall sounded through the room. Your cheeks flushed from embarrassment as they all turned to look at the two of you.
“Has anyone lost a soulmate?” Marina blurted out in panic.
“Oh my lord,” you muttered to yourself, as not a single dancer showed a look of anything but confusion.
“Sorry what?” one of them asked, as he turned the music off.
“Its just–um-well-I don-and it-,” Marina tried to stutter out.
“Her coin went green today but she didn’t notice when it happened, so we don’t know who it was or where it was so we’re trying to figure it out,” you attempted to explain. “We know it happened today and that it could’ve been here.”
“I’m really sorry, none of ours have gone green today,” another one replied with a sorry smile.
“Its fine, and um, sorry for interrupting,” Marina gulped, and you could she was fighting back tears as she tried to back out the room.
“Wait, maybe it was one of the cup of coffee lot?” one called out. Didn’t Johnny say something about a girl and a doughnut or something?”
“What about us?” a group of about four guys rounded the corner, and your heart skipped a beat as your eyes caught sight of a particularly cute guy.
“Doughnut girl! I’ve been looking for you, but you left before I could grab your attention,” one did a bit of a rapid walk to tower over Marina.
“Your necklace is green?” Marina gushed, her eyes catching sight of the pendant over his chest.
“Yeah, just as you threw your doughnut on my shoe,” he laughed, nervously rubbing at the back of his neck. “Do you want to go grab some more, to make up for the one you had to bin?” to which Marina nodded eagerly, grabbing his hand and made her way to the exit of the building.
None of you processed what had happened, until the two were far out of sight.
“Wait have I just been ditched,” you whispered to yourself, assuming it was quiet enough for no one to hear. Unfortunately, you weren’t.
“Looks like it,” the cute guy with dimples and puppy eyes chuckled softly.
“She was my ride and everything. We left in such a hurry I’m lucky I have my shoes as I didn’t grab anything else,” you scolded yourself forgetting to bring your purse so you could get a bus instead of having to walk.
“I can take you back if you want?” dimples offered,
“Don’t you have dance?” you said, even though you prayed he’d blow it off as you were doing that odd thing where you fall in love with a stranger.
“Its fine, we’re basically done. Let me just grab my jacket,” he left you in the corridor for a second. It was then you realised you were kind of dumb for wanting to get in a car with someone you literally only knew of 5 seconds – you didn’t even know their name. But hell, you really didn’t want to walk. He was your best friend’s soulmate’s dance partner, he couldn’t be too bad you tried to convince yourself.
“Do you mind if we stop at the shop on our way? Johnny hasn’t brought any food for the week, and we kind of have to eat at some point,” he asked as he lad you to his car, and you nodded your head, because a part of you wanted to spend as much time with him as possible.
“I didn’t catch your name?” you asked, in an attempt to keep conversation going.
“Jaehyun,” he smiled with a smile you couldn’t help but think was contagious by the grin that wanted to spread across your face “you?”
“Y/N,” your eyes shifted to the floor, only letting a fraction of the smile that wanted to break through out.
As you were stopping at the shop you thought you’d pick up some ice cream for your movie marathon of one tonight, as you had a strong feeling Marina wouldn’t be joining this week. Until you realised that the whole reason you were in this situation was because you didn’t have any money, leading a soft sigh to leave your lips.
“You alright?” Jaehyun questioned, with a slight worried tone to his voice.
“Yep, just thinking of ice cream,” you mused, “Having a movie marathon for one, now that the other parties bailed.” Which caused Jaehyun to let out a quiet laugh.
“I shouldn’t be more then a few minutes,” he responded as he parked up the car, and clambered out. “You can plug your phone into the radio if you want.”
You interpreted that as stay in the car, and took over the radio to play your tunes because you weren’t one to turn down that opportunity. And as he’d promised he was back before you were even half way through your song.
“I don’t actually know where you live,” he trailed off, as he through his carrier bag into the back.
“Oh right, yeah,” you hummed, as you started to direct him to your house. “And it’s just there on the left,” you pointed, as you pulled up onto your street. As his car slowed to a stop, you took your seatbelt off ready to jump out.
“Hang on,” he placed his hand gently on your arm before you climbed out and reached into the back. By doing so he caused his necklace to hang off his body, and you gasped when his necklace had gone green.
“Jaehyun, your necklace,” you said meekly. “Are we going to have to go search town for the second time today?” you joked.
“Oh right, yeah,” he mumbled, as he sat back down in the seat to face you, the plastic bag. “I already knew.” He shrugged, trying to brush it off.
“Did you get their number? Was it in the store?” you were a tiny bit hurt, but you and Jaehyun had known each other for the whole length of a car journey and that was it, so you tried not to think much of it.
“They’re sat in the passenger seat of my car,” he laughed,
“Wait what?” you scoffed, looking around for who else was in the car.
“Your necklace is green to, Y/N,” he gestured to your necklace and your eyes widened when you saw your coin matched Jaehyun’s. “Wondered if you’d want to have a movie marathon with your soulmate tonight?” he pulled out a pint of ice cream from the bag.
“Guess you are my soulmate,” you grinned, as you gladly took the ice cream, your favourite flavour, and lead him to your house.

Early Start - Taeyong Soulmate AU
word count: 1k
warnings: one curse word lol
lee taeyong x reader x soulmate au
summary: when within five meter of your soulmate for the first time, their location would be inked on your arm every other time you were within five meters of each other. But what if you met your soulmate during a thursday rush hour?
Pouring in through your windows, the sun woke you up from your slumber. Peering through sleep glazed eyes, you read the time on your alarm: 8.35am. You rolled over, and let your eyes rest, telling yourself you had five more minutes.
Suddenly, 8:35 burned on the back of your eyelids, and you jolted up. You had precisely, twenty-four minutes and twenty-three seconds to get showered, dressed and arrive at the train station for your nine o’clock train to arrive at work on time.
‘Fuck it’ you thought, throwing on the first set of suitable clothes you found – you didn’t think your office job would take kindly to your worn-out pyjamas. Spraying the remains of the deodorant can all over yourself, and rubbing dry shampoo into your scalp, you convince yourself that no one would notice you hadn’t showered in a day or two. Sprinting to the bathroom, you brushed your teeth hurriedly before slipping your shoes on and making your way out the door (almost forgetting to shut it).
The train station was a far walk away from your apartment, and any ideas of stopping to get breakfast were stomped on by the ques that formed outside every shop on the highstreet. In the moment of panic you were able to stop and giggle at everyone’s joint mistake of all sleeping in on the same day. You did a mix between a quick walk and a gallop down the road, taking each sharp turn to lead yourself to the train station.
In front of you it towered, and with not a second to lose you sprinted to your usual platform, bumping into multiple people in which you could only spare a hollered “sorry” in their general direction.Your heart rate didn’t settle until the train was closer to its new destination then its departure, and you glanced down at your watch to see if your timings were fine.
Your now average beating heart rate dropped when your eyes caught sight of the fading lines on your wrist, with the location you were just at.
Your soulmate had been at the train station
And you’d walked right past them
All morning you’d felt like crying from stress, but the little faint lines on your wrist caused you to tear up, and you meekly tried to wipe them away. But they kept on falling and falling, until you gave up with trying to hide that you were in fact crying on public transport with greasy hair on a Thursday morning.
You dragged yourself into work, and clocked yourself in. Even though no one said anything to you, you could tell everyone was staring at your tear streaked face and the jumper you’d put on backwards in a rush. Your stomach grumbled from the breakfast you’d skipped, and you decided you’d treat yourself to something nice at your lunch break and not a stale sandwich from the vending machine in the hall.
Your eyes would not leave the clock on the wall, as you attempted to do your work without actually looking at it. You counted down the seconds until you had your long desired break, in which you could drown yourself in a feast fit for a king (who was only just getting by when it came to bills). The sudden movement from everyone else around you brought you out of your day dream about jacket potatoes, and you realised now was your chance to go cry into some pasta over your soulmate.
To your dismay the café you’d been dreaming at dinning at all morning was jam-packed, and you had to make your way to another one, which didn’t have as much of a wide variety of soups but still had reasonable prices.
You seated yourself in the corner, and skimmed through the menu. Even though you’d been thinking about lunch all morning, you hadn’t given a second thought to what you were actually going to have. You hummed over each item until you caught site of the ink running along your wrist. Involuntarily you dropped your menu on the table suddenly, and grabbed your wrist in attempts to read it.
The café’s name was sketched upon your skin, and you looked around to see if anyone shared the same frantic face as you. At the other end of the café sat a cluster of boys, all with faded hair dye in their hair. All of them talked in a hushed voice, until one gasped loudly (and quite dramatically you may add) and grabbed a hold of the faded pink one’s wrist.
You watched as each of the boys swiveled their heads round, except for the one who hadn’t removed his gaze from his wrist, which also sported the same name as yours. He lifted his gaze automatically up to you, as if he just knew. You sported a gentle smile, and he slipped from his table and sat opposite you. None of his friends had noticed yet, as they all kept on searching the room with their eyes, which caused a slight giggle to leave your lips.
“Hi,” you breathed,
“Hi,” he grinned back, swiping his hair out of his face.
“I didn’t think you’d be cute,” you stated, confused with where the sudden boldness came from. You watched a blush creep up his face, as he chuckled and looked down in aims to hide his rosy cheeks.
Before you two could start a conversation, you were interrupted by a yell of “Taeyong” from the table of guys. Both of you whipped your heads up to see the three boys had now stood up, and two of them were on their way to the exit.
“Times up,” the one who stayed behind shot you a sorry smile. Mentally, you laughed bitterly at the fact you’d not even spent a minute with your soulmate before he had to leave again.
“Can I have your number? I can text you later?” Taeyong asked, pulling his phone out. Internally you squealed: a cute boy wanted your number omg?!?!?
“Sure,” you shrugged calmly trying to play it off, but by the slight smirk that started to sneak onto Taeyong’s face you could tell it wasn’t working.
“Thanks, Y/N” he smiled, after he’d read your name off his phone. “I’ll see you around,” as he laid a kiss on your cheek, before tuning to leave.
Your mouth gaped open in shock, and you praised the lord for causing the slight misfortunes of the day to lead to one giant fortune.

Dandelions - Jun x Reader
a/n: it’s short I know but I just had to get this idea out my system - inspo from dandelions by ruth b :)
word count: 810
warnings: don’t think there is any?
wen junhui x reader
summary: you were surrounded by dandelions: a million potential wishes you could make. but the wish you yearned for most was stood right in front of you
Jun led the way, as the two of you trekked through the woods to find a spot Jun was dead-set on showing you. Ever since the first time you’d bumped into each other for the first time, he always spoke of it.
His face was covered by a mask and cap, except for a slit that left his eyes bare to the world. They wrinkled at the side in - what you’d assumed was – a grin, a chuckle leaving his lips. You couldn’t help but beam back at him, as he passed the coffee cup back to you.
“I think this is yours,” he laughed.
“You seem in a rush, just take it. I’ll take yours when it’s ready,” you shrugged.
“Thank you,” he twirled the cup around, to read your name of it, “Y/N”
“Think nothing of it,” you shot him another quick smile, as he jogged away.
“How long till we’re there?” you whined, the grass tickling your ankles.
“Not much further,” Jun grabbed your hand, and pulled you along beside him. Your feet ached, and you already dreaded the walk back to where you’d came from. The grass at feet began to get taller and taller, until it was mid-calf on you.
You wrapped your arm around his, as you tried to steady yourself. The skates below you put you on edge, fearing falling onto the ice. The slightest move almost caused you to slip, your balance being completely off. Jun, however, was completely fine, gliding aimlessly beside you.
“How are you doing this so easily?” an airy laugh left your mouth, as you put all effort into keeping your feet on the ground.
“I’m a dancer, balance is easy,” he chuckled, steering you round the rink. “Let’s try it another way,” he tried to remove your death grip from his arm, and took both of your hands in his, so now you were facing each other, with him skating backwards.
“I’m still going to fall,” you muttered, as you let him drag you.
“But it’ll be on top of me,” he winked
“It’s just ahead, see?” he gestured to a spot only just in your eye line. As you got closer, you saw the mass of dandelions all tightly packed together. The field of white resembled snow, as dandelion seeds swirled in the light breeze.
The two of you looked out the window, to come face-to-face with piles of snow littering the road.
“Good thing your studio’s walking distance from here,” you commented, “you can just stay here tonight. I think you left some clothes last time."
“Thank you,” he sighed in relief, “what would I do without you.”
“It’s beautiful,” you said in awe, your footsteps slowing till you came at a stand still just before the meadow. Jun realised your hand, as he bent down to pick a dandelion out of the ground.
“One for you,” he passed you one, “and one for me,” he smiled fondly, clutching on to the weed.
“Thank you,” you shot him a toothy smile, excepting the ice cream.
“I got you your favourite,” and grinned at the fact he’d remembered.
“How much do I owe you?” you said between licks, but he simply shook his head.
“Your companies enough for me,” he responded, a smirk starting to form.
“I don’t know what to wish for,” you mumbled. There were obvious things, such as meeting your idol, or having no debts, but you didn’t want to do the same wish you’d been using on your birthday candles for years now.
“I told you, you didn’t have to bother with my birthday,” Jun moaned, as you placed the present in his lap.
“Of course I did, now open it,” you cut him off, nerves building. What if he didn’t like it? His fans probably bought him better gifts.
He didn’t even get all of the wrapping off, before he stopped to stare at the half opened parcel.
“Y/N, you shouldn’t have,” he said, barely a whisper. He engulfed you in a hug, pulling you in tight. You wrapped your arms around him, caught off at the sudden embrace.
“I’ve got it,” you decided. You made your wish, and watched the dandelion sail through the sky: I wish Jun was mine
You didn’t know what to do. Your heart pounded into your ribcage at one hundred miles per hour.
“Just tell him” your friends voice rang in your head, as you saw Jun walking up your driveway. But you just couldn’t. You didn’t want to risk flushing your whole friendship down the drain, over one measly confession.
“I wish Y/N would be mine,” Jun hummed, as he blew the dandelion into the wind.
A blush flared up on your face, and you couldn’t hide the look of shock.
“So, what do you say? Do you think our wishes will come true?”

Red Eyes - Lucas Soulmate AU
a/n: this is my first time trying this so excuse errors and basically everything else – feedback thoroughly loved and maybe a part two in the future?
word count: 1.6k
warnings: like two curse words??
wong yukhei x reader x soulmate au
summary: never had you been so grateful for dying your hair unnatural colours, as you started into those red eyes and felt your heart beat shake in your rib cage more then it ever had before
You’d be completely and utterly lying if you denied counting the days down till your eighteenth birthday; the day in which the link between you and your soulmate would finally be revealed. Since a kid, you’d constantly pondered over what your tie to each other would be – maybe each other’s names? But you knew fate wouldn’t be that kind to you, it made finding them to easy (unless they were called Dan, then you’d be completely screwed). So, when your eyes peeled open on your eighteenth birthday, your frantic beating heart bought you out of your half-asleep state, and made you frantically search your body for any skin-etched timers, or tattooed words.
Your body slumped slightly when you found none. Everyone in your family before you had had tattoo related ties, your parents having each other’s first word to each other, your sister and her soulmate having each other’s birthdays imprinted on one another’s palm.
But you reassured yourself it was fine, and you weren’t an anomaly among fate. It could always be a mental thing, and those sorts of ties don’t settle till both of you are eighteen. Your eighteenth was not going to be destroyed after only being awake for five minutes.
Casually making your way downstairs to make yourself a feast of whatever remained in the cupboard, your sister stopped to ambush you.
“Y/N, your eye!” she gushed, slapping her hand over her mouth.
You knew you stayed up late last night, but you didn’t think it’d cause your bags to look so shocking.
“Ugh, ignore the bags,” you brushed her off, continuing your trek to the kitchen.
“No, not that,” she yanked your arm, and ran you to the bathroom and turned you to your reflection in the mirror. You didn’t see much difference, but mentally reminded you to sort out the roots that were poking out your obnoxious red hair. “Your eye,” she urged, shoving you closer to the mirror.
As you looked closer, you saw a shard of brown, patterned with gold flexes, in your iris.
“Is that my tie?” you questioned, staring at it in amazement.
“I’d assume so. Maybe it’s their eye colour? Hair?” your sister shrugged.
“It’s so pretty,” you mumbled, your eyes not leaving your reflection.
“I pray it’s eye colour, other wise they’ve got a red in their eye,” your sister laughed.
Running a hand through your hair, you smiled sheepishly, mentally apologising if it was. But you weren’t changing it anytime soon, you’d payed a lot of money for it to be done you added.
Every time you caught your reflection, whether it was in the back of a spoon, or the black screen staring back at you between each episode of Netflix as you were doing your usual binge, you couldn’t help but be mesmerised by your eyes – more specifically the gold that stuck out with in it. It had been a few weeks, but you couldn’t help the slight giddy feeling that swept over you at the fact
you had a soulmate
. That soulmates were actually real, and life hadn’t been lying to you for the past eighteen years.
When your best friend, Aria, rocked up at your door one day, hollering “guess who found their soulmate? This bitch!” at the top of her lungs, your constantly fluttering butterflies in your stomach fell limp. Yes, you’d had your mark for only a few weeks, but the desperation to find them was building more each day because you didn’t want to wait too long. You assumed old age wasn’t going to take your soulmate anytime soon, but that wouldn’t stop death from sending a violent end to them.
“Oh Y/N, don’t worry,” Aria hugged you, sensing the paranoia leaking from you, “Mine didn’t even feel our tie till two years after they’d turned eighteen, so you shouldn’t let this soulmate thing take over your life, anyway?” she nudged you reassuringly, a soft smile on her face, which you returned, taking her words into account. A buzz filled the air, and Arin whipped her phone out of her pocket.
“NCT are doing a V Live, I got to watch this,” she helped herself into the house, leaving you by the door.
“Come in I guess,” you joked, shutting the door behind you as you saw Arin settle herself into your sofa, ushering for you to join her.
“They’ve got new members, and my gosh they’re flawless,” she muttered, her concentration on the screen, as she held her phone out, so you could both see. You’d never been that into them, but you did have to admit ‘Chewing Gum’ was a catchy song, and after Aria had shown you it you’d had it on repeat in your head, and you’d crack out random moves whilst doing daily chores.
Aria was mumbling simplified translations of what each member was saying, as you knew no Korean whilst Aria had taught herself a few years before, and enrolled herself in advance lessons this year, to perfect it.
“This one’s a new member, he’s called Lucas,” Aria narrated, and you could’ve sworn your heart stopped when you saw the red laced within in his irises.
“Do you think that’s his soulmate tie? Do you think he has the same one as me?” you thought your words had came out clear, but they were rushed and crushed together, leaving Aria confused for a second trying to decipher what you’d had said, for her eyes to instantly widen.
“Oh. My God,” is all that left her lips, as you both sat in stunned silence. “Why else would he have red in his eye? Unless there’s some demon concept coming up,”
The word ‘soulmate’ left Aria’s phone, and the both of you simultaneously jumped and then laughed a light – yet tense – laugh at the ironic timing. The other guys on the screen were laughing and pointing at the one Aria had identified as Lucas, for Lucas to interrupt them.
“Soulmate, don’t do this,” he gestured to his eye, “I have to wear contacts!” he cried.
“He can speak English?” you questioned.
“Apparently so,” Aria shrugged, for you to hum in response. “Imagine if it was actually him though. That would be great,”
“Not really,” you scoffed, “the number of girls that would want to dig my grave would be stupid.”
Aria’s hand hovered over the mouse, ready to purchase the two plane tickets to Seoul.
“You sure on this?” she asked again, to which you nodded. You gulped, as you said your farewells to the money you’d saved for so long. Your soulmate clearly wasn’t local, and your heart told you they weren’t national either. Why you started looking in South Korea, you didn’t know, but there was a tiny part of you that was hooked to the idea of it being Lucas (along with the fact Aria was desperate to try out her Korean she’d been learning for so long).
You both counted down the days till your flight, adrenaline building inside you, yet constantly reminding yourself that there was no guarantee you’d find your soulmate there. When you finally reached Korea, your excitement had doubled, maybe even tripled. Whilst Aria tried to find a coffee shop for both, you tried to come up with a plan.
“That’s not coffee, nope that one’s a hairdressers, they sell cushions,” Aria rambled.
“Hairdressers? Maybe we should go there,” you suggested.
“Last time I checked, hairdressers did not sell me cake,” Aria stated,
“But I want to die my hair. It’ll be beneficial to identify who’s my soulmate, because they’re eye would’ve changed from red to another eccentric colour recently, and it would just make it easier for the both of us,” you recalled the plan that had been brewing in your head for the flight here. And your gut was telling you something – that you had to go into that hairdressers.
Aria did that talking for you, and you decided purple would be your new colour. They got you seated, as Aria retold the same story she’d already told you ten times before about her soulmate and a broken coffee machine. The store was oddly empty, with the two of you being the only ones in it.
“And then the coffee machine like threw up milk foam-” but her story got cut short as a bell went off, indicating someone had walked in. You peered over to see a parade of boys walking in, each nattering to one another. The colour in Aria’s face drained, her jaw dropping open.
“That’s NCT” she mouthed, her eyes glued to each guy that walked past.
The gut feeling you’d had exploded within you, as your eyes landed on another pair, with a faint red weaved trough their iris, it fading to purple.
You fucking knew it
Aria followed your gaze, and practically screamed. Everyone – literally everyone – stopped what they were doing to stare at you two with a mix of fear, annoyance and worry. The women blow drying your hair glared at her, before helping you out your seat and to the mirror for you to look at your new hair colour. You could feel his eyes piercing your back as you admired your now purple locks.
“It’s him, it’s him, it’s him,” Aria chanted at you, as you tried to stop the butterflies that were going to burst out of you any minute now. The other members in the store seemed to pick up on what was going down, one of them nudging Lucas, with a smirk on their face. You watched as he approached you in the mirror, not being able to control the smile forming on your face.
“You couldn’t have gone for a brown, could you? He sighed, a grin etched upon his face.
And, oh how you fell in love with that grin
