I've been thinking about the lore of my ocs world and stuff, and a lot of it is very. Inconsistent. I've barely written anything down the past few years (bad idea on my part) so. A lot of details are out of place and even I have no idea what's going on half the time with some of my ocs backstories and how things function in the world.

Some of my ocs have had the same backstory since I was 14. In some cases there's nothing wrong with that but if you read some of their backstories you'd know why I want to change them.

The map I drew for my ocs world is still relevant. I'm keeping that the same. I just. Need to do some rewriting. Or.. a lot, actually. A lot of the backstories and things I have written were made when I was. Struggling with personal stuff. I'm still struggling honestly but I want to make things a little less... messy and more lighthearted. Of course there's still going to be angst but it's not gonna be bam bam bam all the time.

I'm also rewriting Odette's backtory to be not as morbid.. She's still a clone, but for a different reason than selfish rich people doing selfish rich people things if you know what I mean.

I redesigned the bebe

He's fandomless now, but their occupation is still the same! :) He was a death doula/midwife.

I thought about making them the person responsible for creating the flower arrangements for funerals, but I think being a death midwife suits him better. She's good at putting people at ease.

(Orion goes by any pronouns :D)

Lady Lavender: Let's be real here, there's no prince out there who would want to kiss you, so I think it's safe to say your "slumber" would last far longer than 100 years. The only thing kissing you by then will be the rats making themselves at home in your bed.

Black Rose: (losing it) I can't fucking breathe -

Aurora: (angry screaming)

One of my brothers wants to know Arella's lore but he doesn't have Tumblr for me to share some of my posts with him, so I'm typing everything on a Google Doc... I hope he reads it lmao/lh

Arella: (staring directly at a ghost trying to hide inside one of the portraits on the wall) I didn't notice..

Arella's house is haunted by spirits (including Genevieve) I don't make the rules.

She moved back into her childhood home because curiosity got the best of her and she wants to find out the truth of why she can't remember anything.. She begged Cherry to tell her where it was, but when they wouldn't she figured it out herself and now here she is. This is just one thing that's put a strain on their relationship.

This house is old and hasn't had anyone living in it for a little over a decade so it's a bit run down before she starts straightening it up. At least the ghosts like it though (They also like scaring the shit out of Arella but shhhh).

Arella's really confused why Genevieve keeps referring to her as "Relly" and "My best friend" before she figures things out. There's a lot of shenanigans that ensue. It's supposed to be serious (Homie Arella is about to find out some traumatizing stuff </3) but Gen and the other spirits keep interrupting her progress.

So... shenanigans.

It's even funnier when Arella's talking to someone that can't see ghosts so they just see her hat pull itself down aggressively lmfao

"Wtf is wrong with your hat?? Is it possessed or something??"

Ocean: I think she tried to... um.. poison me..?? I know it sounds.. unbelievable, but I watched her put dish soap in my tea when she thought I wasn't looking. Then again.. maybe she thought it was syrup?? Hell, I don't know..

Dakota: Eh.. that doesn't really sound unbelievable..

Ocean: She's done things like this before??

Dakota: Oh yeah, countless times.

Listen I'm a sucker for angst but I would take an AU about someone who's been through a lot getting to relax and share their knowledge of different flowers and plants with other people over that any day (which she does get to do outside of this au but the difference is this au circles around that)

Imagine a kid wanders into her shop with a few dollars because they want to give their friend some flowers but don't know what kind

And Ocean happily explains the meanings behind different flowers for the next hour and helps the kid pick some out <3

"Yellow roses symbolize friendship. Does your friend like yellow?"

"Mhm! It's her favorite color :D"

"She ought to like these then. I'll go get them ready for you."

Then she pats them on the head and grabs the roses before going to trim them up for them

And when the kid leaves she watches them give the roses to their friend across the street and it makes her happy to know she could help someone make someone else's day <3

I love this au so much. It's so cute ahhh
