Coalecroux thoughts on OUAW episode 65 because I’m a fucking nutjob, spoilers obviously

I thought Kremy and Gideons solo scene was BEAUTIFULLY executed, the way they handled it was perfect in my opinion. There are some implications that speak louder than any words between them could.

- Gideons immediately got to work on a sidecar for Kremy. Remember, Mace asked Nikkie if it would be possible to work on his bike ALL NIGHT and if so, Gideon would do that. Then the reveal that what he worked on was somewhere for Kremy to ride with him?? THEY’RE DISGUSTING!

- Kremy is softening up to Torbek in large part BECAUSE of Gideon. He holds Gideons opinion and feelings higher than anything else’s. So when he sees that Gideon genuinely cares about Torbek, it pushes him to be more open about the fact that he IS a friend.

- They talked about their carnival using Gideons new fae engineering. No open “what are we?” Or “are we okay?” BUT “we’ll remain a team” without hesitation! And I think thats as much as they’re both ready to do right now.

In conclusion, I unfortunately have a hard time imagining these two becoming a “real” and unironic couple during this campaign at the pace things are going. However, I hope it’ll at least be heavily implied that they do end up together someday. I really enjoy their dynamic, it feels like they’re inevitable soulmates who are in no real rush to end up together until the yearning becomes too much.
