A constant regression

My true north faded

Bleak

Desolate

Adrift

Like the oceans waves pulling more sand

I've been stretched to thin

Lacking the luster

Joy

Peace

Hope

My cup is empty

When will I find that light

That spark

That glistening sun

Where will it lead me to

A new dawn

Awakened by the light again

A new day

I'm like a phoenix

Strong

Alive with vigor

And my cup has overflown

I take a sip
